It is Time We All Know the World for What it Truly Is

George Orwell once said that “in a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” Since he offered those words decades ago, we have seen deceit become a pervasive and global problem, where the general public really has no clue what is happening around the world. The truth is, we live in a world of secrecy, and many prominent figures throughout history have been trying to tell us this for years. Even President Theodore Roosevelt warned us of the secret government, revealing that “behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government, owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people.”

Eisenhower in his farewell speech said: “Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence – economic, political, even spiritual – is felt in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.  We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

We pray that peoples of all faiths, all races, all nations, may have their great human needs satisfied; that those now denied opportunity shall come to enjoy it to the full; that all who yearn for freedom may experience its spiritual blessings; that those who have freedom will understand, also, its heavy responsibilities; that all who are insensitive to the needs of others will learn charity; that the scourges of poverty, disease and ignorance will be made to disappear from the earth, and that, in the goodness of time, all peoples will come to live together in a peace guaranteed by the binding force of mutual respect and love .“

More people became aware of the world of secrecy when Edward Snowden, a former intelligence contractor, leaked the very first documentation that proved the existence of clandestine black budget operations. These programs go far beyond surveillance and have no oversight from Congress. (You can read more about that topic here.)

To become aware of these hidden truths, one must be curious about our world and capable of thinking critically. It’s hard to know who to trust, especially when it comes to international politics. Examine information and go with what resonates with you; after that, you can look at what different politicians are saying, determine how it fits in with everything you’ve looked at, and connect the dots accordingly.

When it comes to geopolitics, things have become quite clear within the past few years for many, and there is a general consensus among many political leaders and academics that, for a long time, there has been a deliberate manipulation of the opinions of the masses, and that those who manipulate this “unseen mechanism, constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power” of global geopolitics. Our minds are “molded, our tastes formed” and our ideas are “suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.” (Edward Bernays)

If the powers that be today find some standard or norm to their advantage, they force everyone else to comply. But if tomorrow these same standards get in their way, they are swift to throw them in the bin, declare them obsolete, and set or try to set new rules.

For years we’ve relied on mainstream media, but more people are starting to realize that it cannot be trusted, especially when it comes to covering major events like 9/11, the so called ‘war on terror,’ and other critical topics. Global corporate media has become a tool of deception and misinformation, and many of us still have yet to wake from our slumber and realize that this source of ‘information’ is simply an elite owned tool meant to push an agenda that has little to do with public interest.

The results of this massive deception and misinformation has foisted upon the American people and through them to our global citizenry a “con” job of epic proportion in the guise of the most recent presidency. While many are beginning to awaken to this fact, many more remain in their slumber as they are basically being stripped of their liberties, their livelihoods, and their dignities as human beings. Now more than ever, we must wake up, take responsibility for where we find ourselves, and most importantly, we must act to restore our principles of freedom, democracy, dignity, and tolerance that are the backbone principles of our founding fathers.

It is not too late. It is not impossible to reverse these ugly and mean-spirited actions that are unfolding. We simply must stand and proclaim “this is NOT who we are!” For the truth is while the majority has been quiet and, frankly, lazy, we still are the majority and we are by nature good, loving, and generous people that cherish freedom, choice, and opportunity for everyone.

A Suggested Civil Action We All Can Take

There are millions of us globally now who are thoroughly fed up with corrupt bankers, corrupt politicians, and lack of stewardship by our governments and public administrations. We are witnessing horrific acts of violence, absolutely insane acts of murder, and our leaders only offer condolences and useless promises to deal with the issues.

We want change but somehow we feel ineffective to actually make change happen. Our political systems are so corrupt that it seems impossible to get people that would be honest elected, anywhere in the world. Instead we can only choose from cronies put up by the very people and institutions that are perpetrating the violence, crime, and drug trades that are at the root of our current situation. On top of that, the majority of us are slowly being forced into poverty as the top ¼ of 1% are getting vulgarly wealthy. What to do?

The fact is that not all in power, either in the governments or media are willing participants in the madness, but they do lack the moral courage to speak truth to power. It is time we shake their conscience and call them to task for their weakness.

Phillip J. Watt, who lives on the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia has drafted a letter that we all could use to challenge those who can make a difference to act. His written and film work deals with topics from ideology to society, as well as self-development. You can visit his website here.

“Dear (insert name of politician, journalist, community representative or celebrity),

I am writing to raise information with you that is important for everybody to know. It doesn’t appear that you’re aware of it because if you were, I would like to assume that you’d share it through your networks to assist achieving the real change that we need.

Before I continue, I note that you appear as a genuine man/woman who really wants the best for your community and human family. However, when you’re focusing on the wrong problems, how can you expect to find the right solutions? There’s no need to be ashamed either; the public at large have been led astray from the real questions, and therefore the real answers, which is obviously one of the problems that will be identified below.

The many issues I’m referring to can generally be captured in a few primary areas. If we deal with these challenges, then the rest of the peripheral ones will be much easier to tackle.

1) The first problem area is the corrupted money supply.

It is a complex system (or at least purposely designed to be perceived that way), but simply described it is a debt-based model where so-called governments of the world, and therefore its people, loan money from a transnational banking monopoly and then pay it back with interest.

This is in contrast to sovereign nations which used to, and still can if they choose to, issue their own currency to create an honest and productive supply of money for its people. In layman’s terms, governments don’t need to borrow money, they can make it themselves (just like the private banks do) in an economically sound way, so that it directly benefits the people. This includes ensuring the hidden tax of inflation does not occur.

2) The second problem area is private banking.

This mechanism should be publicly owned for the public good, but it’s not. Money is created out of nothing by private banking institutions, contrary to popular belief that they get it from their vaults or borrow it from another institution. For the privilege of punching numbers into a computer, they make billions of dollars each year from it, further enriching those who are already swimming in money.

Imagine if we went back to public banks being the primary methodology for banking, in which their profits are reinvested into community infrastructure and social programs? We would no doubt finally begin to actually solve the many socioeconomic issues that pervade our societies, such as poverty and homelessness. These issues are continuing to increase all across the so-called developed and undeveloped regions too, so we need to do something radically different, or otherwise there will only be the rich and the poor left.

3) The third problem area is the party model of the political system.

The current political duopoly is a two party tyranny, because both sides have been purchased by big money. Subsequently, democracy doesn’t actually exist because the left/right illusion of choice covertly represents the corporatocracy.

There are so many people who have been disenfranchised by this failed system because their voices are not represented by those who are meant to be their employees, so they believe that government should not exist at all. They might be right, they might not, but in the meantime we need to apply a mechanism to ensure that big business (including the interconnected and private banking institutions), are not having their needs met over and above everything else.

It should be a well known fact that the next step is to institute electoral reform to dissolve the party system, so that independent candidates represent the true needs of their electorate and don’t have to toe a toxic party line. Reform is also necessary to remove money from the political spectrum so that the way we design our system puts the interests of the people and the environment first, not the corporations and the oligarchy behind the curtain.

4) The fourth problem area is the complicated and unfair tax system.

Ultimately it would be great if we could get rid of taxes entirely, but that’s not viable in the short term. First, we need to have a simple and fair tax system, such as a transaction tax where all individuals and businesses alike are taxed at a flat rate every time a transaction is made.

This is an easy way to make big business pay their fair share so the average person isn’t paying up to and over 50% of their wages in tax once you calculate all of them in, not just income tax. And the great thing is, with the electronic infrastructure we have in this day and age, it could be implemented near overnight.

5) The fifth problem area is an indoctrination process we call the education system.

It’s nice to think that there are many great teachers doing the best they can, which there are, but they’re working against a model that does not equip children with what they need to be healthy, as well as active members of their community. It misses many life skills, such as proper emotional regulation and basic living skills, and essentially teaches them ‘what to think, not how to think’.

Some people say this is the parents job, but what happens if the parents never learned? I’ll tell you what happens; exactly what we see today. The failed education system has resulted in explosions of dis-empowered, confused and unhealthy young adults entering the world almost totally unprepared for what awaits them, causing the further entrenchment of toxic behaviors in our communities.

We therefore need educational reform immediately, so that instead of having good little robotic workers and expert minions who are not wise enough to question the status quo, our new generations will be truly ready to not just look after themselves properly, but contribute to evolving our social systems too.

6) The sixth problem area is the pharmaceutical monopolies.

Seriously, does anyone really think that the pharmaceutical-medico complex truly wants to create cures, not customers? How can we not collectively see that they’re using the exact same tactics as the tobacco industry once did? Simply, our medicines are full of toxins, a huge proportion of which at the very least only treat the symptom, in the middle don’t work at all, and at worst disable and kill people.

To achieve the control they have over our collective health, they use money to buy so-called scientific and medical support. Sound familiar? Of course it does; it’s just like the tobacco industry was caught out doing. They have also unscientifically demonized natural cures, treatments and therapies. Ironically, most of their so-called medicines are actually plant or bacteria based, yet they perverted them into a toxin that they can legally patent. Surely you see a problem with that, right? Let’s hope so.

The fact that their narratives have been adopted as the orthodox views is nothing short of insane. In this light, we need to wipe the slate clean and start again; our medicines have been corrupted by money and until we table this for public discussion, many more people are going to suffer, and potentially even die.

7) The seventh problem area is the toxins in our food and water.

It’s no wonder that society is so overweight and unhealthy when we are bombarded with chemically-rich products that barely pass as containing nutritious ingredients. In addition, the industrial agriculture model of generally spraying only three petrochemical ingredients on our crops has also made our fruits and vegetables toxin-dense and lacking the dozens of minerals that we actually need for maintaining our health.

Furthermore, whoever thinks that it’s a good thing to add the neuro-toxin, Fluoride, to our water supply has once again been deceived by the monolithic industrial powers. This byproduct of the manufacturing industry numbs our brains, just like most pharmaceuticals do. Both our food and water, therefore, need to be cleansed of their toxins to benefit the minds and the bodies of the people.

8) The eighth problem area is the corporate media obstructing truth from the public.

The media monopolies protect corporate interests because they’re owned by them. The simplest example I can use is the fact that only those who have done their independent research are aware of the issues presented here. In reality, this entire conversation should be a topic on everyone’s minds, being discussed in every lounge room and tabled in the media and in politics for immediate action.

The media is simply a propaganda tool to sedate the masses from the truth, as well as fulfill the agenda of big money. Until we start discussing this on a widespread scale, nothing will change, so when are we going to accept that the corporate media has failed us and that we need to take serious action?

Final Thoughts.

Your time reading this letter is much appreciated. It’s no doubt challenging for anyone to hear this information when they believe the world works much differently, but it’s always better to align with the truth no matter how hard it is to face our delusions.

One day the people and their so-called representatives will come together to sort this mess out. With so many grass roots movements each focusing on one or two of the issues above, we’re only making slow progress. But if we compile them all together and open them for public debate, we might actually start getting somewhere fast.

So, why you have personally chosen not to focus on the real problems in our system? Is it because of ignorance, or greed? Do you have honor, or not? These questions are for your perusal; I’ll leave them up to you to contemplate.

In any case, I hope this letter has inspired you to make some changes to the way you respect your position of power. Peace to you and your family on this adventure of magic and madness we call life.

Yours sincerely,

(Sign your name).

We just felt it may be useful to submit this for your consideration and hopefully your action. You can modify the letter to your belief or simply fill in the blanks and fire off a few of these and encourage friends and family to do likewise. At least it is an action you can easily take. Hey, it may be like Grandma’s chicken soup. It may not help, but it certainly won’t hurt anything either. We know you can think of at least five individuals you would like to send something similar to this letter, right?

Everything is Political

“Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you.” ~ Pericles

As the violence and political drama continues to escalate before us, we must wake up and activate that part of our being that is above politics, indeed, even above religious dogma. We must recognize our ability to, as humans, come together for the betterment of all. Are we not tired of war? Are we not tired of the absurd political theater? Are we not disgusted with the disregard for the majority of us for corporate profit and business as usual, taking, taking, taking by a few?

Of course we are, but we must recognize that which divides us from taking control of our own personal destinies has been engineered by those who hold this absolute power. However, they know full well that if we, as humanity, awaken to their games, their games are over in the blink of an eye. Their game of fear porn has to end and now.

As we witnessed in the tragic events that unfolded in Dallas recently, people WERE coming together and as we saw that was not to be tolerated. Yet, in the aftermath of the events there, people have remained together and with peaceful resolve are moving forward. We all must join hands, whites, blacks, citizens, soldiers, and police,  Christian, Muslim, and Jew to declare we are one race, the Human race, and WE are in control  of our destiny, our planet, and our environment.

To helps break the bonds of our psychological engineered views, first we must understand why everything seems political and what is ABOVE politics and why we are destined to control our own lives. Ethan Indigo Smith, Contributing writer for Wake Up World provides some great insight to the process.

The Political Bottom Line

Everything is political, but firstly it’s biological. This is the concept behind my recent article on biological oligarchical collectivism. It’s simply a swift way of saying that, whether realized or not, our lives are influenced by politics, local and international, past and present — but no matter how important this is to understand, it is even more important to understand that despite the insidious infiltration of politics into every strata of human existence, we are still biological beings. No matter one’s political tendencies or ideologies, we need clean air and water and quality food in order to even begin to contemplate political and social objectives, let alone participate in the world.

Politics permeates everything in society. Politics is something we are immersed in. The people of Flint, Michigan, who cannot drink politics, realize this most directly. We are biological beings firstly, before we are social and political beings. It is only the rhetoric of government and corporations that leads us to prioritize our lives otherwise.

All the politicized, institutionalized, mechanized interaction between individuals and institutions stem from psychological and biological reasons and responses. Sometimes we may not understand our own biological reasons and responses because we live under the limits of our biology, using it to understand it. And yet we know it to be true from observation and experience. It is our biological fear response, for example, that is exploited by government for the political gains of war.

Indeed, every political problem stems from ingrained biological responses and, judging from the continuous institutional war on individualism and destruction of Earth mother, perhaps deep psychological pathology.

Political, Biological… Spiritual

As I said, everything is political but firstly biological… and originally, it is spiritual. Despite our deep primordial connection to the Earth, animals, plants, each other, the seasons, planetary bodies, and forces of the universe far greater than ourselves, the postmodern collective has gone astray, lacking spirituality, left hungry and distracted by the mechanics of institutional imperialism.

Many individuals, despite their spiritual origins and political predicament, never comprehend the spiritual or political stratum of existence. Many consider little beyond their biological needs. And this apathy to realms of reality beyond physical attainment, is the biggest problem we face, with the greatest shielding. The encroachment of politics on our biological and spiritual lives, and the majority’s apathy to it, is an unyielding dynamic in our society. This apathy to the actions of government actually perpetuates the problem, helping to embed the prioritization of political and corporate motives over our biological and primordial/spiritual needs as the status quo.

No matter the particular variation of government, this kind of politics eventually degrades to oligarchical collectivism — which serves only those in power — and ultimately, into biological oligarchical collectivism, which threatens our biological wellbeing in the process.

(For more on biological oligarchical collectivism, please see my recent article, Oligarchical Collectivism: The Institutional “ism” That Threatens Our Very Biology, or simply consider the politics that led to the ongoing health crisis in Flint, Michigan.)

What Would Jesus Do?

What is the solution? Well, let’s see… What would Jesus do? Now I don’t ask this in the Bible-pushing, monotheistic way that you might be accustomed to hearing. In fact, I openly reject monotheism — the religious doctrine that there is only one true “God” — as a form of institutionalization. Rather, I ask the question “What would Jesus do?” as a spiritual human who, like the Jesus archetype, appreciates the value of individuals and not institutions.

The bible’s Cleansing of the Temple narrative tells of Jesus expelling the merchants and money-changers from the Temple, accusing them of turning the Temple into a den of thieves, and declaring “My house shall be a house of prayer.” He went through an intense process of self-development and refinement. He became a teacher and healer, challenging the prevailing morality. Sound familiar?

The story of Jesus offers the solution to the problem of institutionalization we face today: the millennia-old dilemma of oligarchical collectivism, of prioritizing commercial over spiritual interests. Today, this is the political bottom line. No matter what is going on in the world, no matter the political agenda being pushed, we must perform the inner-work to develop and define our own consciousness. Refinement and healing of the Self is the first step toward individuation, which is the first step to being an empowered individual among power-seeking institutions… which is the first step toward changing the political bottom line. The next step is to teach and, when possible, contribute to healing others. As Jesus demonstrated, after one heals, one forgives and heals others. But we can only find this ability if firstly we have found healing for our Self.

At the Last Supper, as the story goes, Jesus told his disciples to remember his death. Yes, despite his apparently miraculous birth, Jesus told his closest friends, the night before he passed, to remember how he left this world rather than how he arrived — to remember his legacy of spiritual achievements, not his (miraculous) biological inheritance. Jesus developed himself and then focused on teaching and healing, as well as confronting the “den of thieves” — the political and commercial profiteers of his day. He confronted and called out the money changers and merchants, and the militaristic authorities, and re-asserted the value of spirituality. However the oligarchical power-seekers collectivized and subverted the spiritual aspects he advocated — and this was the final straw for Jesus.

The Remedy

Everything is political, but first it’s biological, and before that it’s spiritual. No matter if the oligarchies are armed with swords or depleted uranium missiles, as they are today, the solution to the ever-impending and ever-expanding nature of oligarchical collectivism is to be like Jesus — to value the spiritual over all else, political, commercial or otherwise. In order to counter the political bottom line we face today, we must become powerful refined individuals focused on teaching and healing. There are already so many healers and teachers in the world today who embody this “Christ consciousness”, working to counter institutionalization and politicization in peaceful manners, mainly by developing themselves and assisting others directly. In order to surpass the political bottom line that has persisted throughout history, we need to create a new metaphysical paradigm to replace it.

Whether one views the bible as allegorical or literal, the story of Jesus provides powerful lessons, and these lessons are more profound the better one is able to sift through the controlling layers of monotheistic, monothematic consciousness contained therein. Remember, Jesus spoke of no “true religion” but was simply a prophet of love, healing and justice. Be a lightworker, just as Jesus was. Confront and heal your shadow aspects and learn to work in the light. Develop yourself, teach others and stand up against the politics of oligarchical collectivism, which values power and the powerful over humans and humanity. Forget the dogma and the institutionalization, and focus on working in the light, no matter what. Refine yourself and then be yourself, as a healer and teacher, and peacefully confront the oligarchies — like Jesus.

Another important remedy to oligarchical collectivism is to think on different lines than the status quo and the majority. Most people see matters in terms of their own perspective or even selfish benefit, however the terms they think are to their benefit are often enough to their detriment — such as the example of commercial globalization, which provides people with cheap convenient access to resources and products but to the detriment of personal self-sufficiency, local economies and our environment, which are ultimately of detriment to people. Look beyond the perspective of the self, and the status quo of the majority, and allow the “Christ consciousness” to inform your thoughts and actions, in everything you do.

But, while the focus of this discussion has been the lesson of the Jesus allegory, the spiritual solution to our political bottom line can be found in spiritual teachings of all kinds. One of the most profound spiritual teachers, right up there with Jesus (as long as monotheism isn’t the focus), is Milarepa, one of Tibet’s most famous yogis and poets.

Milarepa is the Patron Saint of Tibet. Of all the amazing teachers and yogis, including Milarepa’s own teacher Naropa, Milarepa is the most honored of all yogis, and perhaps he himself is the very source of the ‘wise man on the mountain’archetype; the slightly strange yogi in rags, that resides atop the highest cave in the most secluded valley, awaiting seeker’s arrival with the answer to his question. Milarepa was primarily known for changing the world through his own enlightenment. He is further known for offering answers or understandings which were completely counterintuitive to the average individual involved, and in fact transcended the problems he was presented, rather than attempting to solve them with the kind of thinking that created them. This is the nature of spirituality.

The political bottom line, the solution to biological oligarchical collectivism, and the confinement of politics, is to work in the light, like Jesus, like Milarepa, and like so many countless other well-known and nameless healers and righteous rebels. Empower yourself as an individual, empower others and take on the institutional powers that are nefarious or exploitative. The solutions to political problems are spiritual practices. The solution to political institutionalization is to enhance your consciousness and become a lightworker, or a rainbow warrior, because the best way to contrast the institutionalization of the entire planet is to enhance consciousness individuation across the entire planet. The political bottom line is a spiritual one, the political bottom line is not religious oriented necessarily, but spiritual.

Politics is the highest social station of the lowest form of social thinking. It is not an ascended mode, nor is it made up of ascended people. It is just the highest operation of the lowest and most basic. The political bottom line, the way to empower individuals and disempower institutions is to be spiritual, and in some manner, or by every means at your disposal, rise above the highest operation of the lowest motivation. The political bottom line is to be spiritual.

Time for Some Hard Truths

Consider these paraphrased thoughts of Alan Hart. They truly focus the real questions we must ask ourselves and the real truths we must face as fact.

Modern life is a de-humanizing process which has reduced us, most of us, to units of consumption, digits in corporate computers, figures on accountants’ balance sheets. The prime task for each and every one of us is to claim back our humanity. THE most important of all questions is the question of human nature.

The pessimistic view, which is more or less an article of faith for most politicians and mainstream media people and many corporate executives, bankers especially, is that we human beings are inherently and unchangeably short-sighted, selfish and greedy, preferring to live for today at the expense of tomorrow and are, on balance, more “bad” than “good”. In other words, we are really quite stupid. And that, our so-called leaders tell themselves, is why they can’t tell us the truth about real choices and options for the future.

hard truth

The optimistic view is that we could be much more “good” than “bad”, meaning that we have at least the potential to act in our own best, longer term interests and those of our children especially, even if doing so would require those of us who live in the rich nations (and the pockets of plenty in the developing and poor nations) to lower our expectations and actually be prepared to take less in the way of material gratification.

Politicians simply don’t care about the welfare of the general population unless they are pushed to do so by informed public opinion and by manifestations of real democracy in action. The problem is that most citizens of most nations are too uninformed and misinformed about critical issues to do the pushing.

Real democracy exists nowhere in the world, and perhaps least of all in America where what passes for democracy is for sale to the highest lobby bidders. What will it take to empower the citizens of nations to make democracy work? It is about fathers and grandfathers thinking more about the future of their children and grandchildren. We, who are citizens of the still rich Western nations, need to change the way we live and think.

The real villain is the short-sighted and stupid way the capitalist system has been managed since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution – by the few in global terms for the few. Today in our world 15 million children under five are dying each year from malnutrition and related, easily preventable diseases such as diahorrea and whooping cough. We must invest in the development of the poor majority in order to bring them, in an environmentally friendly way, into the market place with the purchasing power to buy the goods and services we have to sell if our capitalist system is to have a sustainable future.

Unless and until a majority of the men and women elected to Congress are more frightened of offending their voters than they are of offending the lobbyists and its allies including the right wing fundamentalists, we have no true democracy.

What most citizens of most nations have in common today is a dislike (antipathy) verging on contempt for their governments and what the business and what the practice of politics has become. But that is not enough to create real change. 90 percent of Americans have something approaching contempt for Congress, yet incumbents continue to be returned to office year after year. Whose fault is that, the politician’s or the people who continue to elect them?

Americans are, generally speaking, the most uninformed, misinformed and gullible people on earth. So if they have some understanding of how self-serving, how corrupt and how rotten their political system is, and act politically on that understanding, hope that the doors to new politics can be opened everywhere in the Western world is surely justified.

We must send the message that we won’t vote for them unless they play their necessary part in causing critical issues to be addressed. On another level it means organizing and being prepared to participate in protest marches and demonstrations, peacefully of course. And yes, there is a case for well organized boycotts to press home protest points.

We all need something to believe in. What can we believe in? I say why not believe in OURSELVES and our ability. We must be willing to seek, speak and spread the truth, to become politically engaged to make democracy work and cause our governments to change the world for the better; to give our children and grandchildren at least the real prospect of a future worth having. If we fail them, they won’t forgive us.

It’s Time to Take Main Stream Media (MSM) to Task!

What you sow, you reap. When the FCC allowed the major corps to basically corner the media markets, we, as citizens, lost the valuable “fourth column” that protects our freedoms and our liberty.

However, it is time we stand to demand our media do its job. We do have power, and it is called consumer power. We don’t have to watch and we don’t have to buy what they are selling and they are selling propaganda and crap.

Let me give some examples here:

1). Ever heard of the Freedom Act? No? Me either until I watched a session of the EU parliament last week, where I heard Republican Representative James Sensenbrenner, former Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and representative from Wisconsin’s 5th District since 1979, testify to the EU parliament concerning a bill he co-sponsored with Senator Patrick Leahy, Democrat from Vermont, who is U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman that would end the NSA’s total collection of all our private data.  As you know the EU is very angry at learning of the extent of NSA’s abilities and actual data collection, including all of our emails, phones calls, and social media activity. It has damaged our relationship with our allies more than any other act we have taken since World War II. Yet not one word on this in our media! Hell the fact that a Democrat and Republican joined on any bill would be news! The reason we don’t hear about it is because of the complicity our media has with the NSA in collecting the data and more importantly supporting the collection of data in the Op Eds both on TV and in the printed media.

2). We are in economic recovery! This is just an outright lie. The facts are we are no better off, and maybe even in worse shape than just after the crash in 2008. Here are the real facts that are not being printed in MSM. The employment-population ratio measures the percentage of the working age population that actually has a job.  As you can see by the chart below, this number fell dramatically during the last recession and since the end of 2009 it has remained remarkably flat.  In fact, it has stayed between 58 and 59 percent for 50 months in a row…So how is the government getting the unemployment rate to go down? Well, they are accomplishing this by pretending that millions upon millions of unemployed Americans have disappeared from the labor force.

Employment-Population-Ratio-November-20131-425x255

At the moment, the employment-population ratio is just one-tenth of one percent above the lowest level that it has been throughout this entire crisis. So are we in an “employment recovery”? Absolutely not, and anyone that tries to tell you that is lying to you. According to the government, the percentage of Americans that want to work is now supposedly at a 35 year low. You actually have a better statistical chance of getting into Harvard than you do of being hired at a new Wal-Mart that is opening up in the Washington D.C. area. The store is currently combing through more than 23,000 applications for 600 available positions.

3). Inflation is low. Again this is another outright lie that is being not reported by MSM. Anyone that goes to the grocery store or pays bills on a regular basis knows that there is plenty of inflation in the economy.  And if we were being given honest numbers, they would show that.

According to John Williams of shadowstats.com, if the U.S. inflation rate was still calculated the exact same way that it was back when Jimmy Carter was president, the official rate of inflation would be somewhere between 8 and 10 percent today. But the Federal Reserve certainly doesn’t want everyone running around talking about “Jimmy Carter” and “stagflation” because then people would really start pressuring them to end their wild money printing schemes. And without a doubt, what the Fed is doing is absolutely insane.  The chart posted below shows that the M1 money supply has nearly doubled since the beginning of 2008.

M1-Money-Supply-20131-425x255

In fact, a recent former Federal Reserve official that helped manage the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing program during 2009 and 2010 is publicly apologizing to the rest of the country for being involved in “the greatest backdoor Wall Street bailout of all time”…

“I can only say: I’m sorry, America. As a former Federal Reserve official, I was responsible for executing the centerpiece program of the Fed’s first plunge into the bond-buying experiment known as quantitative easing. The central bank continues to spin QE as a tool for helping Main Street. But I’ve come to recognize the program for what it really is: the greatest backdoor Wall Street bailout of all time.”

Again, this points to the fact that MSM is owned by major corporations who in some cases are owned by the banks who are the beneficiaries of the so-called stimulus money, and we ,the sluggos, on the line to pay for all of this are kept in the dark as much as possible.

4). Obamacare Is Going To Be Good For Middle Class Americans. Well, while all we are hearing in MSM is how the web site sucks, the facts are not being reported. At this point, approximately 4 million Americans have already had their health insurance plans canceled due to Obamacare, and according to Forbes that number could ultimately reach 93 million. According to one study, health insurance premiums for men are going to go up by an average of 99 percent under Obamacare and health insurance premiums for women are going to go up by an average of 62 percent under Obamacare.

And so far only about 100,000 Americans have actually signed up for Obamacare, so that means that the number of Americans with health insurance has dropped by about 3.9 million since the beginning of October!

These are just a few examples of how MSM has failed to keep us informed about the really important issues we need to be informed about so we can take the actions politically we need to take to insure our personal prosperity and safety. All of this, and I mean all of this is because of two factors. Corporate greed and the influence it has on government and the media. Therefore our trusted “fourth column” has been totally comprised. We cannot allow this to continue.

To make this point even clearer and to demonstrate the mentality to which I allude, consider this.

Bloomberg News got some attention last week after it came out that the editor-in-chief had told reporters to kill a series of stories “that might anger China” and then defended that decision by arguing it was similar to appeasing the Nazis. I’m not joking.

In the call late last month, Mr. Winkler defended his decision, comparing it to the self-censorship by foreign news bureaus trying to preserve their ability to report inside Nazi-era Germany, according to Bloomberg employees familiar with the discussion.

Apparently, the main story that was killed was by reporter Michael Forsythe, who had been working on it for nearly a year. And, oh yeah, it was scheduled to run the very same month that Bloomberg’s CEO was “visiting China to strengthen business ties between the media-sensitive country and the financial services company.”

Without an honest media, we are doomed to whatever whims the government and corporate America wish to foist upon us. We need to act in concert. One thing media is sensitive to is publicity. We need to show up in front of our local affiliate NBC, CBS, FOX, and ABC television stations demanding better coverage of the real issues affecting our lives. We need to show up in front of our major metropolitan newspaper offices demanding access to the OP ED sections of the paper. Let’s let them know we aren’t fools. Sure we can try and get our news from alternative media, but as a NSA operative recently bragged, we are really good at corrupting social media and alternative news. We own it!

Think about this because I cannot think of anything more important than how we get our information and what the content of that information is…Can you?

Conservative Elites vs. Liberal Elites- No One is Representing the Middle Class and Workers

What is the difference between G W Bush and Barack Obama? Nothing! Therein lies the problem for the disappearing middle class and workers in this country. Why hasn’t the economy improved? Because no one is demanding it change. The 1% control media, politics, and corporate policies, moreover, and more importantly, they also control unions and those organizations that have traditionally provided the pressure to insure the system remains balanced. Like it or not we are living in a corporate oligarchy.

The Occupy Movement represented something this corrupt system really feared. They were really independent of the influence of Wall Street or politics and did show the potential to grow rapidly. Ever ask the question of what happened to Occupy? They were effectively crushed. Some pinned their hopes on the Tea Party, but we have all witnessed the complete take-over of the Tea Party by the Koch Brothers and now the Tea Party representatives are being used to try to dismantle the very government structure that could act effectively to restore some equality in the system.

Some ask what happened to the influence of labor unions and liberal organizations in relationship to the Democratic Party and their platform and agenda. They simply were dwarfed in spending by Wall Street. The so-called “Wall Street” Democrats and firms simply outspent those organizations and therefore the issues of economic equality went to the wayside. Just simply look at what help or influence the union bosses played in the Auto Bailout. The unions accepted shaving senior workers, slicing benefits and pensions, and allowing the hiring of new workers at $12-14/hour! Now we find Detroit declaring bankruptcy! This was a combination of sellouts by the union leadership and the fact they were out-lobbied in the halls of CONgress.

oligarchy

It is interesting to watch the current “angst” of Obama supporters as they slowly are realizing they have, for the most part, been betrayed. What next? I would suggest that we take a page from the Occupy strategy. The current political system as we know does NOT represent us. The MSM does NOT report the truth about the real condition of the American economy or the American political system. Therefore there is no way to affect change “within the system” as we know it. Secondly, trying to form any type of third party or movement will be aggressively attacked as it arises and therefore there is no sense in looking to the traditional political approach to resolve the problems we face.

As we look around the world, what we see as effective is to once again create a healthy fear in the oligarchs and their politician cronies.  In a recent interview, Chris Hedge stated the last true liberal socially oriented president was NIXON! That was a remarkable statement until he explained that at the peak of the protests against the Vietnam War, massive amounts of people took to the streets in the capital and around the White House. These protests were so significant that the Secret Service lined empty school buses around the White House as a barrier. The story goes that Nixon was watching all of this from the Oval Office with Henry Kissinger. He apparently turned to Henry and said, paraphrased, “Jesus Christ Henry, these people are going to come through these barriers and get us! We have to put an end to this damned war now.” Therefore, as Chris points out, this was the last president who had any fear of the public’s opinion.

As we approach this 2014 election cycle these points should be considered. We all know what the problems are, because we are living them. We need to SHOW UP at political campaign speeches and events and begin to confront those who say they represent us. Forget about conservative or liberal, black or white or brown issues and approach this as it is – an attack on the middle class and poor of this country. That is 95% of US regardless of “party” or ethnicity. Watch what is happening in Britain, Germany, and France. Show up and don’t allow these incumbents and potential candidates continue the false narrative and divisive rhetoric. Demand an address to unemployment, hunger, equal rights, unrelenting surveillance, and corporate benefits and monetary support with our tax dollars. Demand redress to the issues of a living wage and decent housing and health care. An end to this usury as it relates to student loans and credit. In a word an end to the corporate Coup ‘d’ Etat of our government. We should pack every hall, every venue and simply not allow these idiots speak their crap, but do so in a peaceful, but civilly disruptive protest. Send the message we are on to the game and we are not going to allow it to continue.

oligarch boot

We ought to think about gathering our conservative and liberal friends together in our neighborhoods and have discussions to insure we grasp the reality we are being “played” against each other.  We need to understand that we are being polarized to insure we don’t come together. In these “block parties” find the REAL issues that effective us all, regardless of our personal political philosophy. In other words framing the truth about what is happening. We all have been betrayed, and we all are being victimized here! Let’s start now to understand the truth like adults and not like sheep!

Are You Getting It Yet? War Has Been Declared On You!

You cannot look at the events of the last thirty years and deny there is no respect for “The Common Man” anywhere in the world.  Much has been written about “The Elite”, “The Cabal”, “The Bildebergers”, “The Rothchilds”, and on and on and on.  Until a few years ago, these allegations have been generally rejected by the public as conspiracy theories, promulgated by disenfranchised paranoid people.

However, more recently, a lot of facts have surfaced that would suggest maybe, just maybe, there may be some credence to what these conspiracy nuts having been saying all along. So really what is going on? Could there be a world-wide conspiracy to “break down the common man”.  How could this even be possible, as it would involve so many people for an extended period of time.

In reality, the simple answer is yes, and it has been going on, in earnest for the last thirty years. The stated goal of this “Third World War” is simply; “the engineering of social automation systems (silent weapons) on a national or worldwide scale with the implicit extensive objectives of social control and destruction of human life, i.e., slavery and genocide.” Such an endeavor must be secured from public scrutiny. Otherwise, it might be recognized as a technically formal declaration of domestic war. Furthermore, whenever any person or group of persons in a position of great power and without full knowledge and consent of the public, uses such knowledge and methodologies for economic conquest – it must be understood that a state of domestic warfare exists between said person or group of persons and the public. President Eisenhower, in his farewell address, tried to warn us of this plan.

Consider these statements carefully. How would you describe the world since 911, economically? It would certainly seem to support such a statement. Think about the about of wealth that has been transferred in to the hands of a few since that event. Think about the bailouts of the banks, for example. It was the largest transfer of wealth in the history of mankind, period. Remember, we were told that if we, the people, did not bailout the banks, the world’s economy would collapse.  However, if you were really watching closely, the world economy was already collapsing. In the US, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month!

Remember, we were told that there was an immediate need to transfer $700 Billion of public funds to banks or it was all over. Later we learned that the actually amount transferred was more like$7.1 TRILLION Dollars, bailouts and multiple QEs. If you remember, when CONgress asked for an accounting of the bailout monies, Big Ben said, at first, that he wasn’t going to do that because it would hurt the commercial banks, if people knew which ones were in trouble, but through persistence we learned that the amount of money in secret loans that some of the big Wall Street banks received from the Federal Reserve is absolutely staggering.  The following figures come directly from a GAO report….

Citigroup – $2.513 trillion
Morgan Stanley – $2.041 trillion
Bank of America – $1.344 trillion
Goldman Sachs – $814 billion
JP Morgan Chase – $391 billion

OMG that’s $7.1 TRILLION and then with the bailouts of foreign banks, yes most of the major banks in Europe, and yes, we did those too, but you know the information is “so sensitive”.  The total is $16.115 TRILLION and that is more than the annual GDP of the entire country!

Unemployment was at about 7.5% then. We were told that we needed quantitative easing to stimulate the economy. Today, unemployment remains above 7%, yet the stock market is near an all time high. Seriously folks, how can that be? The answer is simple. Corporations are sitting on mountains of cash WE gave them! Catching on yet? This transfer of wealth (theft) has gotten so bold, the banks are no longer even wanting to give it an “official” look. One glance at what is happening in Cyprus is all anyone needs to know to understand this fact.

According to a CIA training manual, silent weapon technology has evolved from Operations Research (O.R.), a strategic and tactical methodology developed under the Military Management in England during World War II. The original purpose of Operations Research was to study the strategic and tactical problems of air and land defense with the objective of effective use of limited military resources against foreign enemies (i.e., logistics). It was soon recognized by those in positions of power that the same methods might be useful for totally controlling a society.

Social engineering (the analysis and automation of a society) requires the correlation of great amounts of constantly changing economic information (data), so a high-speed computerized data-processing system was necessary which could race ahead of the society and predict when society would arrive for capitulation. Sound familiar as it relates to Wall Street trading among the brokers, or the recent revelations concerning domestic surveillance?

Although the silent weapons system was nearly exposed in 1967, the evolution of the new weapon-system has never suffered any major setbacks. Energy is recognized as the key to all activity on earth. Natural science is the study of the sources and control of natural energy, and social science, theoretically is expressed as economics, and is the study of the sources and control of social energy. Both are bookkeeping systems: mathematics. Therefore, mathematics is the primary energy science. And the bookkeeper can be king if the public can be kept ignorant of the methodology of the bookkeeping.

All science is merely a means to an end. The means is knowledge. The end is control. Beyond this remains only one issue: Who will be the beneficiary?  In 1954 this was the issue of primary concern. Although the so-called “moral issues” were raised, in view of the law of natural selection it was agreed that a nation or world of people who will not use their intelligence are no better than animals that do not have intelligence. Such people are beasts of burden and steaks on the table by choice and consent.

Consequently, in the interest of future world order, peace, and tranquility, it was decided to privately wage a quiet war against the American public with an ultimate objective of permanently shifting the natural and social energy (wealth) of the undisciplined and irresponsible many into the hands of the self-disciplined, responsible, and worthy few.

So here we are folks. Is it a hair-brained conspiracy or is it real? If we look just at the facts, and ask one simple, simple question, “what is the future for my children?” The answer requires us to change the course of history.  Remember, when we do the “bookkeeping” this one simple fact is key to winning the “Quiet War”, “into the hands of the self-disciplined, responsible, and worthy few.” Therefore this big secret is the Achilles heel of this immoral plan, and that is that it is impossible to pull off without OUR consent or permission. I, for one, DO NOT CONSENT! How about you?
