Understanding the Deep State and Shadow Government

In the 1990’s and early 2000’s there were numerous conspiracy theorists who were writing about a secret government, “the cabal”, “the Khazarian Mafia” that was covertly taking control of governments, banks, and corporations worldwide. They were labeled as paranoid nut jobs by mainstream pundits and the MSM. This being the case, even though several world leaders were warning of the very same reality since the early 1950’s. Dwight Eisenhower’s famous farewell speech in which he said,” In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together”.

President Kennedy also warned of this growing covert control. He spoke clearly of it when he said, “For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence — on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match.”

Now in 2017, we see this secret oligarchic society openly opposing the will of the people worldwide. We see how 0.1% now controls 96% of the global wealth and we understand how money and power are enslaving the world’s population to the point that education is now considered unnecessary for the masses. Health care is a privilege, and war is for profit, not honor or security. We have been forced to relinquish our rights for so-called “national security”. The Nut Jobs were right all along.

Still, however, many refuse to face this reality so let’s try again and more clearly state exactly what reality is. It is unmistakably clear that our federal government’s national security apparatus faces opposition from an ever-expanding and ever-ramifying network of individuals and groups that are prepared to subvert the Constitution, the rule of law and our national security interests in order to advance their own ideological pre-commitments.

One way to think of this network is a shadow government, a metaphor that has attained a progressively larger public profile over the past several months. This network denotes individuals and groups bound together by a common ideological worldview that takes precedence over norms of democratic governance. To understand this issue more intelligibly, it is useful to define the term shadow government. Several related ideas and concepts undergird this term.

First, the term shadow government issues forth from the notion of a shadow cabinet. The term shadow cabinet originated out of parliamentary forms of government wherein the losing party in an election campaign appoints members of its party to “shadow” officials appointed by the ruling party. Members of the shadow cabinet are selected by party leaders to represent the party’s own political interests, a process that is advanced by publicly critiquing the policy agenda of the party in power.

Second, in our non-parliamentary system, the idea of a shadow government, secret government, or invisible government signifies that real and actual political power resides or ought to reside, not with elected representatives, but with private individuals, government bureaucrats, judges and elites, who exercise power and influence behind the scenes in order to bend the so-called arc of justice to favor their preferences. Power, in this view, is to be wielded by individuals who are linked by an overarching ideological agenda committed to an expansion of the administrative state, grounded in the proclivity of progressives to delegate power to unaccountable experts outside of the scrutiny of democratic institutions. That is, experts exercise power beyond the reach of the Constitution and democratically elected representatives including the President and Congress.

Third, properly appreciated, shadow government supporters maintain that the official elected government is, and ought to be, subservient to its shadow, which holds or ought to hold, true executive power. Shadow government proponents include members of the administrative bureaucracy. They believe that the government, or at least certain levers of government, ought to be secretly controlled by elites who wish to remain secretive about their desire to manipulate policy, that is, until one of their chosen representatives assumes presidential power.

On a global basis, this power elite have been proven to manipulate elections, control monetary systems, launder drug monies for their own drug peddling operations that secretly finance their power and influence over duly elected officials, wage wars and create chaos for financial benefit, and control the MSM to insure all goes without inflaming the victims (us) of their theft of our labor and our blood.

It is vitally important that we all come to grips with this reality. It is not a conspiracy. More importantly, unlike what this oligarchic group would now have us believe, we ARE NOT POWERLESS. Knowledge of the facts and the resolve to act in a socially responsible manner, we can stand up, speak up, and act up. Literally the very freedom of our families and children are at stake here. We act now or we may never again know freedom and prosperity. We may never again have the ability to control our own destinies. Sound over dramatic? Think about it. The facts are staring us right in the face.

The Brighter More Positive Side of Right Now

Things seem to be going a little crazy lately. Changes, some even seemingly bizarre are happening almost every day. Even our new President’s supporters are being caught a bit off-guard. This President promised to build a wall and Mexico would pay for it, but now, it seems we will pay for it either up front or through tariffs on Mexican goods. This President said he would drain the swamp in Washington, but then has appointed the biggest alligators in the swamp to his cabinet. He has appointed a Secretary of Education that wants to eliminate public education as we know it. Even his supporters care about the quality of their children’s education. He has put a secretary in change of Energy, even though that person vowed to eliminate that department, if he could remember the name of the department. And on and on it goes, in a flurry of executive orders. He has even excluded the CIA Director and the Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff from the Situation Room. Even for those who supported him initially are having a hard time dealing with the ACTUAL moves of this new administration.

However, this is not a situation unique to the US. Britain votes to leave the EU and the Philippines elect a similar radically thinking president to head their government. So what is really happening right now and why are we, for the most part, letting all this happen. The good and intelligent people we know and respect who are or were, until recently supporters of the new administration, are somewhat God-smacked at the moment.

To try and understand this we have to examine why we are acting and reacting as we are currently.  What are the real facts to explain our actions or lack of them. Cognitive dissonance is a powerful drug. It makes otherwise-very-intelligent people goofy and incoherent in their thinking and blinds them to certain realities that they should normally see right in front of their noses. You witness it all the time in the field of economics — a key piece of logic, a key fact that certain people absolutely refuse to take into account simply because they have a singular idea of how the world works and they cannot allow that idea to ever come into question. They would rather leap into a mental gymnastics routine worthy of an Olympic gold medal than examine the truth. And if you confront them on it, they’ll accuse YOU of being the one in denial.

This is how we ended up with the credit crisis and market crash of 2008/2009. This is how very few people saw the writing on the wall with Syria and ISIS and the fact that the funding and training of Islamic extremists by Western governments for the purpose of proxy insurgency might not be such a great concept. It is the reason why it took years for the mainstream to acknowledge the advent of the East/West paradigm, the same paradigm that alternative analysts warned about years in advance. This is why most mainstream AND alternative analysts completely discounted a successful Brexit referendum. And, it is why the vast majority of pundits could not even conceive of a Trump victory in 2016.

We have seen endless theories over the past several months on all the ways in which the global elites would sabotage the Trump campaign. I believe the phrase “they will never allow him to win” was repeated in nearly every discussion on the election. The assumption in this instance was that Trump is “anti-establishment” and, therefore, a threat to the globalists. These are the same globalists that people also claimed would “rig the election,” or initiate a “coup” in the electoral college to stop a Trump presidency.

Of course, this never happened. So, a large percentage of the movement needs to question — why didn’t it happen? How did Trump win within a system we know has been rigged for decades? You’ll hear hundreds of theories and rationalizations on Trump’s miraculous victory, but a reason you will almost never hear is also the most likely one: Trump won the election because he serves the interests of the establishment. Trump won because he is a fake.

This is not an idea that many liberty activists want to entertain. They were so repulsed by the proposition of Hillary Clinton taking the helm at the White House that they would have invested themselves in almost ANYONE running against her, even if they thought that candidate might be controlled opposition.

However, let us consider what else has now started to happen.  Paul A. Philips wrote recently about the ten signs of global awakening. Those unable to see that just about every subject under the sun is a deception and how their family and friends are affected don’t yet realize the extent to which the shadow governments of the world have us literally enslaved. However, alternative media sources tell us that people are awakening exponentially to the realization that they’re duped.

  1. The fall and further fall of the mainstream media

Trust in the mainstream media has fallen to an all-time low and continues to plummet. Much of this has to do with an increasingly aware and disgruntled public: More and more are able to discern a mainstream media totally lacking in integrity, thanks to the rising popularity of the independent/alternative media exposing the dishonesty. Unlike the alternative/independent sources, the servile corporate controlled mainstream media has been a highly effective tool used to manipulate the consensus reality of the masses for a number of powerful individuals having political and financial self-interests. A number of us know we have seen attempts by these elitist individuals controlling the mainstream media to thwart the rising popularity of the independent/alternative media through false, baseless accusations of ‘fake news.’ Indeed, it’s an attempt to discredit because it exposes the truth about the elite and reveals their hidden agendas. Essentially, the unjust ‘fake news’ labeling of the independent/alternative media has backfired on the manipulators: Instead of achieving censorship it has given rise to further increasing support for the alternative/independent media, while the mainstream media has taken an even bigger fall.

  1. Trust in Big Government and Big Business has fallen to an all-time low

Besides the mainstream media, worldwide, an increasingly aware public show a growing distrust for Big Government and Big Business institutions from multiple polls. The distrust and unpopularity implicitly expressed by the public on these crooked institutions with their resident crooks mainly come from the truth revelations put out by the alternative/independent media. Further, this is what happens when Big Government and Big Business not only ignores the people’s voice in decision making, but also demonizes their dissention and public opinion, which only serves to fuel the public’s uprising.

  1. Marches against Monsanto, for Women’s rights, for refugees safe passage, against further damage to our environment have intensified.

There couldn’t be a better example of the public’s growing distrust in Big Business than Monsanto. As the years roll by marches against Monsanto from people of many different backgrounds all over the world have risen significantly and don’t look like cooling down. Although there are signs of Monsanto clawing back, in recent years earnings have plummeted. The earnings drop for the biotech company suggests a growing public disdain for their GM seeds as more and more people realize the dangers of GMO and its glyphosate herbicide. More and more realize that Monsanto are out to patent, own and control every seed in the world. This threatens the destruction and diversity of every natural God-given seed.

  1. Increasing health awareness

Although still very popular people’s awareness of the dangers of fast food has increased, as indicated by recent erratic share prices in some of the major fast food corporations who’ve had to pull out all marketing stops to claw back on fallen share prices. Reports indicate that last year people have shown more interest than ever in organic non-GMO healthier food options. Besides how these choices affect health, people’s increased interest and awareness has extended into concerns over the environment, animals and the workers involved in food production.

  1. Increasing recognition of disinformation

People are increasingly seeing right through those various media sources with their dogmatic unhealthy skeptics, shills, trolls, pseudo-debunkers, controlled opposition agents, biasing, filtering and in-your-face lies… intended to sell you the spin of disinformation to keep you ignorant, deceived and helplessly anesthetized in the matrix controlling system.

  1. Increasing support for social media

The social media outlet has greatly contributed to our awakening. It has indeed provided a unique and effective platform for the people’s voice. No wonder the mainstream media and elitists are unpopular. Along with the alternative/independent media, the explosive interest in the social media outlet has not only changed our views but also continues to redefine journalism and how information is shared. How this is redefining media is subject for another piece. Simple to say we’re in a golden age of alternative/independent and social media which has contributed greatly to our global awakening.

  1. Changing viewpoint towards the ‘Conspiracy theorist’

Another blatant indicator confirming our awakening is a change in how the term ‘Conspiracy theorist’ is now generally viewed. Used frequently over the years in mainstream media the term ‘conspiracy theorist’ was invented in the 60’s by the CIA. It has been used as a cover up; to discredit those aware of the facts on how the dark overlords and their associates’ have been involved in criminal activity.

No longer generally viewed as a label to slap on crazy kooks believing Richard Nixon was a werewolf… etc… Conspiracy theory has become more generally viewed as either conspiracy fact or at least something worth investigating rather than flatly dismissing.

  1.  Increasing attempts to shut us up

Our global mass awakening has got the shadow government greatly concerned as they question the effectiveness of their control systems over us. How can they deal with our awakening in growing overwhelming numbers? Desperately, in cahoots with their associates, they’re throwing everything at us ranging from the grossly suppressive, the extremely petty, the violent and the ridiculous… to try to shut us up and deny our self-expression, keep us mentally, spiritually and physically enslaved in the matrix controlling system. So desperate that the current Communications Director for this administration has actually told the press to “shut up and listen”.

  1. Awakening through unknown/unforeseen processes

Our awakening goes beyond the specific and measurable: We cannot simply quantify our awakening: There are circumstances occurring on a spiritual level that go beyond our limited understanding. Such as, for example, claims have been made recently of energetic emissions from our galactic centre that could affect our spirituality and transform us. For some of us, we understand this as a natural evolutionary process that has been repeated many times throughout many civilizations.

  1. Rise in local meet up groups

As already mentioned, the internet and social media has indeed been great for exchanging information to wake people up but what if these set ups become censored? Further, large groups, virtual or real, run the risk of infiltration for dumbing down and deliberate disinformation. So the solution lies (in part) in the forming of local community based in-person groups to cultivate the resistance and humanity, and local meet up group numbers are already growing.

Will our mass awakening to the deception produce a turnaround — a world that makes a difference for everyone? A world where there’s no predators, no controlling hierarchy, no blood-sucking vampiric slave-drivers at the top ruling the numerous enslaved at the bottom… no more fight for self-sufficiency because it’s already been achieved in the communities.

It is up to us all to play our part. Stick to the facts, just the facts. Verify the facts independently and every time. It’s Time!

What Really Happened on Saturday?

What we witnessed on Saturday, the day after the inauguration, was historic and unprecedented. When we watched the various media report on the events, however, we were struck by the horrendous lack of understanding on what really occurred.

Most of the pundits were arguing that what were the women really wanting or it was all about women’s rights, reproductive rights, and equal pay. Nothing could be further from the truth. First, there were demonstrations in 75 cities and 15 countries, with nearly 40 million people participating! This was not just about women’s rights.

This was about reacting to a long history of oligarchic rule. It was about economic stagnation. It was about unending divisiveness. It was about poor education. It was about obscene income inequality, lack of a living wage, and the reality that our children have less, not more opportunity than their previous generation. It was about endless wars and the gross displacement of millions of refugees. It was about hunger and the lack of access to clean water and decent affordable health care. This was the beginnings of a global rebellion to oligarchic rule.

For most of our history until about the early 90’s we all lived in a patriarchal society. Then with events like the US Supreme Court ruling of Citizens United and the banking crisis of 2008, we were confronted with the “in your face” striping of our wealth by greedy bankers. They forced a reality where we all, not just Americans, were striped of our wealth to cover their gambling debts.

What we really witnessed on Saturday was the birth of and the emergence of a matriarchal society on a global basis. Women have had enough and as any married man on the planet knows if you ignore your spouse and she becomes angry, Hell has no fury like the wrath of a woman.

For us who are awake, we salute the women of the world and say “it is about time!”

Just Saying…

As the global elite descend upon Davos for the World Economic Forum to rub elbows, Oxfam released a report today which it introduced in this way:

It details how big business and the super-rich are fueling the inequality crisis by dodging taxes, driving down wages and using their power to influence politics. It calls for a fundamental change in the way we manage our economies so that they work for all people, and not just a fortunate few.

Last year in its report, OXFAM figured that 62 people owned the same wealth as “the poorest half of the planet,” but this year more data became available. Had this data been available last year, it would have shown that 9 men owned as much as the poorest half of the planet. Now it’s down to just 8:

  1. Bill Gates
  2. Amancio Ortega
  3. Warren Buffett
  4. Carlos Slim
  5. Jeff Bezos
  6. Mark Zuckerberg
  7. Larry Ellison
  8. Michael Bloomberg.

The press release continues:

It is obscene for so much wealth to be held in the hands of so few when 1 in 10 people survive on less than $2 a day. Inequality is trapping hundreds of millions in poverty; it is fracturing our societies, and undermining democracy.

Across the world, people are being left behind. Their wages are stagnating yet corporate bosses take home million dollar bonuses; their health and education services are cut while corporations and the super-rich dodge their taxes; their voices are ignored as governments sing to the tune of big business and a wealthy elite.

And in its detailed 48-page report (PDF), Oxfam dives into the inequalities and their causes. Four years ago, according to the report, the World Economic Forum identified rising economic inequality as a major threat to social stability, and the global elite sighed up sanctimoniously to lower inequality. Yet since then, “the gap between the rich and the rest has widened.”

Our question is when we will say enough!

It is Time to Declare Who You Are!

Do we really understand what it means to be a “soul”? Do we really understand in the grandest cosmic context what it means to possess “free will”? For most of us the answer is really no. Could we understand? Most assuredly yes. Remember “knock and the door shall be opened unto to you”?

freedom2

The changes that are occurring right now are to free us from our slavery and bondage to ignorance. Everyone at this point can now look into themselves and begin to glimpse the real truth of who you are. If you make the effort, you will quickly understand that the very FIRST step to your true state of free will and emancipation is to declare your sovereign divine rights. This is important because you may have unwittingly consented to your current state of 3D reality CONTRACTUALLY. Therefore the first step is to declare that you are revoking and rejecting all past agreements to use your energy and demand restoration of your energy.

Andrew Bartzis is a transcendent teacher, Shaman and Reiki master with the rare ability of being able to access the Akashic Records of our planet and all that this universe encompasses at will. Also known as the Galactic Historian, he’s able to read and interpret individual, cultural, global, and galactic histories (past, present, and future) with everyone who’s eager to learn. Just as if you would look through a clear glass of pure water, Andrew can read the Akashic Records while in a fully conscious state.

While some may agree or disagree with those assumptions, it is important for you to at least consider the possibility that you willingly or unwittingly may have bonded your soul and energy to something you may not remember because your memory of that commitment has been hidden from your current consciousness. Look deep, meditate, and try to understand your current state of being.

You may want to consider making the following declarations out loud and with your spoken voice for all of your actions are recorded in the Akashic record.

I CALL TO ALL SPIRITUAL CONTRACTS THAT EXIST…

Within my past, present and future beings, selves and existences in this dimension and time stream, all time streams above and below the Earthcentric sine wave of co- existence…

I hereby declare that all banking families and systems are now banished from operating in secret, covert or overt ways to harvest my energy in any way shape or form.

I hereby declare that Earth Mother is now in dominion with me for all energy exchange for value systems.

I call forth all the ancestors to honor this reading of my free will and enter it into the Earth Akashic record for all sentient kind to understand our freedom comes with the use of free will at all times.

To be sure this may be nothing more than just a frivolous mental diversion or it may just be the most important action of your eternal existence. At worst, it can be no more harmful than Grandma’s chicken soup for a cold. It may not help, but it sure won’t hurt.

Understanding Evil Cloaked as Righteousness

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

– Sun Tzu, The Art of War

As we watch events unfold we are confronted in our own minds with either disbelief or denial. Add to this apathy and a feeling of helplessness. We all SEE the same events, but we choose different ways to interpret those events. The events ARE the events. The FACTS are the FACTS, but somehow we are split on what is real and what is fiction. Interestingly, all of a sudden the new siren is “fake news”, like that is something new. It isn’t new. Disinformation and Propaganda are as old as written language. But what the last several months have taught us is to beware of what we see and hear.

Somehow we have allowed disinformation to become truth and truth to become conspiracies. Indeed, we are aware of how disinformation and propaganda have actually influenced our world in profound ways. Our fascination with economics and sociopolitical events has always been rooted in the human element. That is to say, while economics is often treated as a mathematical and statistical field, it is also driven by psychology. To know the behavior of man is to know the future of all his endeavors, good or evil. Let’s not grapple with this issue from a particularly religious perspective. Evil applies to everyone regardless of their belief system, or even their lack of belief. Evil is secular in its influence.

The first and most important thing to understand is this — evil is NOT simply a social or religious construct, it is an inherent element of the human psyche. Carl Gustav Jung was one of the few psychologists in history to dare write extensively on the issue of evil from a scientific perspective as well as a metaphysical perspective.  We highly recommend a book of his collected works on this subject titled ‘Jung On Evil’, edited by Murray Stein, for those who are interested in a deeper view.

To summarize, Jung found that much of the foundations of human behavior are rooted in inborn psychological contents or “archetypes.”  Contrary to the position of Sigmund Freud, Jung argued that while our environment may affect our behavior to a certain extent, it does not make us who we are. Rather, we are born with our own individual personality and grow into our inherent characteristics over time. Jung also found that there are universally present elements of human psychology. That is to say, almost every human being on the planet shares certain truths and certain natural predilections.

The concepts of good and evil, moral and immoral, are present in us from birth and are mostly the same regardless of where we are born, what time in history we are born and to what culture we are born. Good and evil are shared subjective experiences.  It is this observable psychological fact (among others) that leads us to believe in the idea of a creative design.

For if there is observable evidence of creative design; then it would follow that there may very well be a reason for all the trials and horrors that we experience as a species.  Our lives, our failures and our accomplishments are not random and meaningless.  We are striving toward something, whether we recognize it or not.  It may be beyond our comprehension at this time, but it is there.

Evil does not exist in a vacuum; with evil there is always good, if one looks for it in the right places.

Most people are readily equipped to recognize evil when they see it directly.  What they are not equipped for and must learn from environment is how to recognize evil disguised as righteousness.  The most heinous acts in history are almost always presented as a moral obligation — a path towards some “greater good.”  Inherent conscience, though, IS the greater good, and any ideology that steps away from the boundaries of conscience will inevitably lead to disaster.

The concept of globalism is one of these ideologies that crosses the line of conscience and pontificates to us about a “superior method” of living.  It relies on taboo, rather than moral compass, and there is a big difference between the two.

When we pursue a “greater good” as individuals or as a society, the means are just as vital as the ends.  The ends NEVER justify the means.  Never.  For if we abandon our core principles and commit atrocities in the name of “peace,” safety or survival, then we have forsaken the very things which make us worthy of peace and safety and survival.  A monster that devours in the name of peace is still a monster.

Globalism tells us that the collective is more important than the individual; that the individual owes society a debt and that fealty to society in every respect is the payment for that debt.  But inherent archetypes and conscience tell us differently.  They tell us that society is only ever as healthy as the individuals within it, that society is only as free and vibrant as the participants.  As the individual is demeaned and enslaved, the collective crumbles into mediocrity.

Globalism also tells us that humanity’s greatest potential cannot be reached without collectivism and centralization.  The assertion is that the more single-minded a society is in its pursuits the more likely it is to effectively achieve its goals.  To this end, globalism seeks to erase all sovereignty. For now its proponents claim they only wish to remove nations and borders from the social equation, but such collectivism never stops there.  Eventually, they will tell us that individualism represents another nefarious “border” that prevents the group from becoming fully realized.

At the heart of collectivism is the idea that human beings are “blank slates;” that we are born empty and are completely dependent on our environment in order to learn what is right and wrong and how to be good people or good citizens.  The environment becomes the arbiter of decency, rather than conscience, and whoever controls the environment, by extension, becomes god.

If the masses are convinced of this narrative then moral relativity is only a short step away. It is the abandonment of inborn conscience that ultimately results in evil.  This is exactly why the so called “elites” are pressing for globalism in the first place. Their end game is not just centralization of all power into a one world edifice, but the suppression and eradication of conscience, and thus, all that is good.

Evil often stems from people who are empty. When one abandons conscience, one also in many respects abandons empathy and love.  Without these elements of our psyche there is no happiness. Without them, there is nothing left but desire and gluttony.

Beyond this is the even more disturbing prospect of cultism. It is not that the globalists are simply evil as individuals; if that were the case then they would present far less of a threat. The greater terror is that they are also organized. When one confronts the problem of evil head on, one quickly realizes that evil is within us all. There will always be an internal battle in every individual. Organized evil, though, is in fact the ultimate danger, and it is organized evil that must be eradicated.

For organized evil to be defeated, there must be organized good.  The liberty movement in particular is that good; existing in early stages, not yet complete, but good none the less.  Our championing of the non-aggression principle and individual liberty is conducive to respect for privacy, property and life.  Conscience is a core tenet of the liberty ideal, and the exact counter to organized elitism based on moral relativity.

Rebel Against the Real Enemy – Income Inequality

We have witnessed the engineering of a great divide in America, thirty years in the making. No time in the history of America, including the civil war era, has this country been so polarized and divided. This last presidential campaign brought to the surface all of the vitriol, hatred, racism, xenophobia, and paranoia. The election has not quelled the tensions, and in fact, may have accelerated the tensions.

Now, we are facing the possibility of a recount in several states. Accusations of vote rigging and manipulation run rampant, even in lame stream media. The president elect has not exactly stepped up to call for calm and reconciliation.   The world watches in utter disbelief as these events unfold. This brings us to the point of this article—what is really dividing us.

Once again the average, common, hard working Americans have been duped into blaming each other for their current state of economic stagnation, lack of a decent living wage, and crumbling infrastructure. It’s the poor urban blacks sucking our revenue by not working and living off welfare. It is the Latinos who are pouring across our borders and taking our jobs and dealing drugs. It’s the refugees streaming in who are terrorists in disguise and they are ready to blow up our schools and our malls.

We have a message for all of us who think it is an attack on white America. We all have something in common, that is middle white America, urban Blacks, Latinos, legal and illegal, and refugees, we are all POOR and getting POORER by the day. If we all could realize this fundamental fact, and it is a fact, and we united against the real enemy, corrupt politicians doing the bidding of their criminal bosses on Wall Street, and walked arm-in-arm to Washington TOGETHER, we would watch a whole bunch of elitists changing their underwear and start looking for a way out of Dodge. Consider carefully the following report.

Last week Credit Suisse released its latest annual global wealth report, which traditionally lays out what is perhaps the biggest reason for the recent “anti-establishment” revulsion: an unprecedented concentration of wealth among a handful of people, as shown in its infamous global wealth pyramid, an arrangement which as observed by the “shocking” political backlash of the past few months suggests that the lower ‘levels’ of the pyramid are increasingly unhappy about.

As Credit Suisse tantalizingly shows year after year, the number of people who control just shy of a majority of global net worth, or 45.6% of the roughly $255 trillion in household wealth, is declining progressively relative to the total population of the world, and in 2016 the number of people who are worth more than $1 million was just 33 million, roughly 0.7% of the world’s population of adults. On the other end of the pyramid, some 3.5 billion adults had a net worth of less than $10,000, accounting for just about $6 trillion in household wealth. And in between is the so-called global middle class – those 1 billion people who rising anger at the status quo made Brexit and Trump possible.

Coincidentally, we tracked down the first Credit Suisse report we found in this series from 2010, where the total wealth of the top “layer” in the pyramid was a modest $69.2 trillion for the world’s millionaires. It has nearly doubled in the 6 years since then. Meanwhile, the world’s poorest have gotten, you got it, poorer, as those adults who were worth less than $10,000 in 2010 had a combined net worth of $8.2 trillion, a number which has since declined to $6.1 trillion in 2016 despite a half a billion increase in the sample size. The same goes for the layer right above, also known as the “middle class.”

How about the very top?cs-wealth-2_0-top-of-the-pryamid

Things here are even more nuanced, with 28.9 million people whose net worth is between $1 and $5 million gradually tapering off to just 140,900 Ultra High Net Worth individuals who control more than $50 million in assets each.  Of these, 50,800 are worth at least USD 100 million, and 5,200 have assets above USD 500 million. The total number of UHNW adults is about 3% higher than a year ago (4,100 individuals), and the increase has been relatively uniform across regions, except for the higher than average rise in Asia- Pacific countries (10%)

Wealth differences within and between countries

Wealth differences between individuals occur for many reasons. Variation in average wealth across countries accounts for much of the observed inequality in global wealth, but there is also considerable disparity within countries. Those with low wealth are disproportionately found among the younger age groups, who have had little chance to accumulate assets. Others may have suffered business losses or personal misfortune, or live in regions where prospects for wealth creation are more limited. Opportunities are also sometimes constrained for women or minorities. In contrast, many individuals can be found at the other end of the spectrum who have acquired large fortunes through a combination of talent, hard work and good luck.

The wealth pyramid in the following figure  captures these differences. The large base of low wealth-holders underpins higher tiers occupied by progressively fewer adults. We estimate that 3.5 billion individuals – 73% of all adults in the world – have wealth below USD 10,000 in 2016. A further 900 million adults (19% of the global population) fall in the USD 10,000–100,000 range. While average wealth is modest at the base and in the middle tiers of the pyramid, total wealth there amounts to USD 35 trillion, underlining the economic importance of this often overlooked segment.

The base of the pyramid

The layers of the wealth pyramid are quite distinctive. The base tier has the most even distribution across regions and countries , but also the most uneven range of personal circumstances.

In developed countries, only about 20% of adults fall within this category, and for the majority of these individuals, membership is either transient – due to business losses or unemployment, for example – or a lifecycle phase associated with youth or old age. In contrast, more than 90% of the adult population in India and Africa falls within this range. For many residents of low-income countries, life membership of the base tier is the norm rather than the exception.

Mid-range wealth

In terms of global wealth, USD 10,000 –100,000 is the mid-range band. It covers around 900 million adults who represent a high proportion of the middle class in many countries. The average wealth of this group is quite close to the overall global mean wealth, and its combined net worth of USD 29 trillion provides it with considerable economic clout. India and Africa are under-represented in this segment, whereas China’s share is disproportionately high. China and India provide an interesting contrast. India accounts for just 3.1% of those with mid-range wealth, and that share has changed very little during the past decade. In contrast, China accounts for 33% of those with wealth between USD 10,000 and USD 100,000, ten times the number of Indians, and double the proportion of Chinese in 2000.

The high wealth bands

The top tiers of the wealth pyramid – covering individuals with net worth above USD 100,000 – comprised 5.9% of all adults at the turn of the century. The proportion rose rapidly until the financial crisis, but has remained quite stable since that time. It currently comprises 8.2% of the global total, nearly the same as in mid-2015. Regional composition differs markedly from the strata below. Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region (omitting China and India) together account for 89% of the group, with Europe alone providing 144 million members (36% of the total). This compares with just 5 million adult members (1.2% of the global total) in India and Africa combined.

The pattern of membership changes once again for the US dollar millionaires at the top of the pyramid. The number of millionaires in any given country is determined by three factors: the size of the adult population, average wealth, and wealth inequality. The United States scores high on all three criteria, and has by far the greatest number of millionaires at 13.6 million, or 41% of the worldwide total (Figure  3). For many years, Japan held second place in the millionaire rankings by a comfortable margin – with 13% of the global total in 2011, for example, which was double the number of the third placed country.
However, the number of Japanese millionaires has fallen, alongside a rise in other countries. As a consequence, Japan lost its second place to the United Kingdom in 2014, but bounced back again this year because of exchange rate appreciation.

After a drop this year, the United Kingdom falls to third place with 7% of millionaires worldwide, followed by Germany, France, and China with 5% each, and Italy, Canada, and Australia with 3% each. Switzerland, Korea, Spain, and Taiwan are the four other countries with more than 350,000 millionaires, which is the minimum requirement for a one percent share of the global total.

Changing membership of the millionaire group

Year-on-year variations in the number of millionaires can often be traced to real wealth growth and exchange rate movements. Last year, we reported that widespread depreciation against the US dollar had resulted in a significant reduction in the number of millionaires between mid-2014 and mid-2015. This year, the changes in both directions have been relatively modest: a net increase of 596,000 or 2%. Japan reversed the trend of recent years, adding more than a third to its total (up 738,000 to 2.8 million). Millionaire numbers rose again in the United States, but only by 283,000, which is less than the typical rise in the period since the financial crisis. The downside was experienced by the United Kingdom, which lost around 15% of its millionaires (406,000 adults), and to a lesser extent by Switzerland (down 58,000), and China (down 43,000).

The usual source of information on wealth data – official household surveys – tends to become less reliable at higher wealth levels. To estimate the pattern of wealth holdings above USD 1 million, we therefore supplement the survey data with figures from “rich lists” such as the Forbes annual tally of global billionaires. These rich list data are pooled for all the years since 2000, and well-known statistical regularities are then used to estimate intermediate numbers in the top tail which are consistent with the Forbes data. This produces plausible estimates of the global pattern of asset holdings in the high net worth (HNW) category from USD 1 million to USD 50 million, and in the ultra-high net worth (UHNW) range from USD 50 million upwards.

While the base of the wealth pyramid is occupied by people from all countries at various stages of their lifecycles, HNW and UHNW individuals are heavily concentrated in particular regions and countries, and tend to share more similar lifestyles, for instance participating in the same global markets for luxury goods, even when they reside in different continents. The wealth portfolios of these individuals are also likely to be more similar, with a focus on financial assets and, in particular, equities, bonds and other securities traded in international markets.

For mid-2016, we estimate that there are 33.0 million HNW adults with wealth between USD 1 million and USD 50 million, of whom the vast majority (28.9 million) fall in the USD 1– 5 million range

There are 2.5 million adults worth between USD 5 million and 10 million, and 1.5 million more have assets in the USD 10– 50 million range. In terms of HNW membership, Europe briefly overtook North America in 2007, but North America regained the lead in 2010, and now accounts for a much greater number, namely 14.7 million (45% of the total), compared to 9.8 million (30%) in Europe. Asia-Pacific countries, excluding China and India, have 6.0 million members (18%), and another 1.6 million are found in China (5% of the global total). The remaining 816,000 HNW individuals (2% of the total) reside in India, Africa or Latin America.

Ultra-high net worth individuals

Our calculations suggest that 140,900 adults worldwide can be classed as UHNW individuals, with net worth above USD 50 million. Of these, 50,800 are worth at least USD 100 million, and 5,200 have assets above USD 500 million. The total number of UHNW adults is about 3% higher than a year ago (4,100 individuals), and the increase has been relatively uniform across regions, except for the higher than average rise in Asia- Pacific countries (10%).

North America dominates the regional rankings, with 73,400 UHNW residents (52%), while Europe has 29,800 (21%), and 18,800 (13%) live in Asia-Pacific countries, excluding China and India. Among individual countries, the United States leads by a huge margin with 70,400 UHNW adults, equivalent to 50% of the group total (Figure 5).  This is a small increase of 500 compared to mid- 2015. China occupies second place with 11,000 UHNW individuals (up 640 on the year), followed by Germany (6,100, up 500). The United Kingdom lost by far the greatest number of UHNW individuals (down 700 to 4,700), but still heads France (4,100, up 600). In contrast, Japan gained the most (3,600, up 1,000), and now occupies sixth place. Italy (3,300, up 400), Canada (2,900, up 100), Korea (2,500, up 200), and India (2,300, up 100) are the other countries with the highest numbers of UHNW individuals. This represents a 100-fold rise of UHNW individuals since the turn of the century. A further 8,500 UHNW adults (6% of the total) can be found in Hong Kong, India, Korea, and Taiwan.

The wealth pyramid captures the contrasting circumstances between those with net wealth of a million US dollars or more in the top echelon, and those lower down in the wealth hierarchy. Discussions of wealth holdings often focus exclusively on the top tail. We provide a more complete and balanced picture, believing that the base and middle sections are interesting in their own right. One reason is the sheer size of numbers and their political power. However, their combined wealth of USD 35 trillion also yields considerable economic opportunities, which are often overlooked. Addressing the needs of these asset owners can drive new trends in both the consumer and financial industries. China, Korea and Indonesia are examples of countries where individuals have been rising rapidly through this part of the wealth pyramid. India has not shown similar progress to date, but has the potential to grow rapidly in the future from its low starting point.

This, my global friends, is the real problem and reason why we are angry. It is so important to start thinking instead of reacting emotionally. This is why we have to look closely at how easily we were manipulated to focus on each other and not have our attention on the criminals who were and are robbing us of our future. We have been blogging about this for years now, but somehow those who need to hear the truth the most are not hearing any of it. It is time to wake them up. How? Well we really don’t have a better understanding of that than when we started, but maybe, just maybe, collectively we can figure that out. Not much time left before it all comes crumbling down.
