Rethinking Monetary Policy in the 21st Century

The Federal Reserve has been around for just over a hundred years, and it has done an absolutely abysmal job for the American people. We are in the longest period of economic stagnation in our history. Wealth inequality in America is at its worst in our history. Trillions of dollars have been drained from the working and middle class citizens, including pension funds. Our access to higher education has been burdened with unbearable debt. Our infrastructure is crumbling and our very health is actually declining. This is all related to our national monetary policy in the end.

Here are some compelling reasons we should demand that our government relook at its arrangement with a private corporation (The FED) to set monetary policy.

#1 We like to think that we have a government “of the people, by the people, for the people”, but the truth is that an unelected, unaccountable group of central planners( The Fed) has far more power over our economy than anyone else in our society does.

#2 The Federal Reserve is totally unaccountable to the American people and is actually “independent” of the government.  In fact, the Federal Reserve has argued vehemently in federal court that it is “not an agency”of the federal government and therefore not subject to the Freedom of Information Act.

#3 100% of the shareholders of the Federal Reserve are private banks.  The U.S. government owns zero shares.

#4 The greatest period of economic growth in U.S. history was when there was no central bank.

#5 The Federal Reserve was designed to be a perpetual debt machine.  The bankers that designed it intended to trap the U.S. government in a perpetual debt spiral from which it could never possibly escape.  Since the Federal Reserve was established 100 years ago, the U.S. national debt has gotten more than 5000 times larger.

#6  A permanent federal income tax was established the exact same year that the Federal Reserve was created.  This was not a coincidence.  In order to pay for all of the government debt that the Federal Reserve would create, a federal income tax was necessary.  The whole idea was to transfer wealth from our pockets to the federal government and from the federal government to the bankers. The period prior to 1913 (when there was no income tax) was the greatest period of economic growth in U.S. history.

#7  From the time that the Federal Reserve was created until now, the U.S. dollar has lost 98 percent of its value.

#8  In the century before the Federal Reserve was created, the average annual rate of inflation was about half a percent.  In the century since the Federal Reserve was created, the average annual rate of inflation has been about 3.5 percent.

#9  Since the Federal Reserve was created, there have been 18 distinct recessions or depressions: 1918, 1920, 1923, 1926, 1929, 1937, 1945, 1949, 1953, 1958, 1960, 1969, 1973, 1980, 1981, 1990, 2001, 2008.

#10 According to an official government report, the Federal Reserve made 16.1 trillion dollars in secret loans to the big banks during the last financial crisis.  The following is a list of loan recipients that was taken directly from page 131 of the report. It is important to note how many of those loans of our tax dollars went to foreign banks and over $2 trillion went to “unnamed borrowers”.

Citigroup – $2.513 trillion
Morgan Stanley – $2.041 trillion
Merrill Lynch – $1.949 trillion
Bank of America – $1.344 trillion
Barclays PLC – $868 billion
Bear Sterns – $853 billion
Goldman Sachs – $814 billion
Royal Bank of Scotland – $541 billion
JP Morgan Chase – $391 billion
Deutsche Bank – $354 billion
UBS – $287 billion
Credit Suisse – $262 billion
Lehman Brothers – $183 billion
Bank of Scotland – $181 billion
BNP Paribas – $175 billion
Wells Fargo – $159 billion
Dexia – $159 billion
Wachovia – $142 billion
Dresdner Bank – $135 billion
Societe Generale – $124 billion
“All Other Borrowers” – $2.639 trillion

#11 Most of the new money created by quantitative easing has ended up in the hands of the very wealthy. According to a prominent Federal Reserve insider, quantitative easing has been one giant “subsidy” for Wall Street banks.

#12 The Federal Reserve is supposed to be able to guide the nation toward “full employment”, but the reality of the matter is that an all-time record 102 million working age Americans do not have a job right now.  That number has risen by about 27 million since the year 2000.

jfk_7 days before

#13 The Federal Reserve is supposed to look out for the health of all U.S. banks, but the truth is that they only seem to be concerned about the big ones.  In 1985, there were more than 18,000 banks in the United States.  Today, there are only6,891 left. The six largest banks in the United States (JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley) have collectively gotten37 percent larger over the past five years.

#14 There has never been a true comprehensive audit of the Federal Reserve since it was created back in 1913.

#15 The United States now has the largest national debt in the history of the world, and we are stealing roughly 100 million dollars from our children and our grandchildren every single hour of every single day in a desperate attempt to keep the debt spiral going.

And this is, in a nutshell, the performance record of the Fed. These are facts, not opinions. The truth, not propaganda. We are aware of what Thomas Jefferson said about bankers and we all know what happened to JFK when he suggested the US Treasury should issue money and NOT the Fed. However, the best quote about the Fed comes from Thomas Edison when he said:

That is to say, under the old way any time we wish to add to the national wealth we are compelled to add to the national debt. Now, that is what Henry Ford wants to prevent. He thinks it is stupid, and so do I, that for the loan of $30,000,000 of their own money the people of the United States should be compelled to pay $66,000,000 — that is what it amounts to, with interest. People who will not turn a shovelful of dirt nor contribute a pound of material will collect more money from the United States than will the people who supply the material and do the work. That is the terrible thing about interest. In all our great bond issues the interest is always greater than the principal. All of the great public works cost more than twice the actual cost, on that account. Under the present system of doing business we simply add 120 to 150 per cent, to the stated cost. But here is the point: If our nation can issue a dollar bond, it can issue a dollar bill. The element that makes the bond good makes the bill good.”

We know most people’s eyes glaze over when you talk monetary policy and certainly, with a few exceptions, our CONgress has no clue either. However if we fail to simply demand accountability from the FED and that means audit, and we fail to demand that money needs to flow to people and infrastructure projects, cities, and schools instead of banks during this next election cycle, then we might as well place our own shackles on ourselves.

Why Peace Alludes Us

We never seem to want to address the 500 pound gorilla in the room, that is the religious basis of wars. We talk all around these issues, give geopolitical and security reasons for war, but in the end they are based in religion and a sense of righteousness. After all every warring faction believes “GOD” is on their side. The truth is peace is attainable, however it must be based on freedom of religious practices and respect of beliefs.

The brotherhood of men is founded on the fatherhood of God. The family of God is derived from the love of God — God is love. God the Father divinely loves his children, all of them. The kingdom of heaven, the divine government, is founded on the fact of divine sovereignty — God is spirit. Since God is spirit, this kingdom is spiritual. The kingdom of heaven is neither material nor merely intellectual; it is a spiritual relationship between God and man.

If different religions recognize the spirit sovereignty of God the Father, then will all such religions remain at peace. Only when one religion assumes that it is in some way superior to all others, and that it possesses exclusive authority over other religions, will such a religion presume to be intolerant of other religions or dare to persecute other religious believers.

Religious peace — brotherhood — can never exist unless all religions are willing to completely divest themselves of all ecclesiastical authority and fully surrender all concept of spiritual sovereignty. God alone is spirit sovereign. You cannot have equality among religions (religious liberty) without having religious wars unless all religions consent to the transfer of all religious sovereignty to some superhuman level, to God himself.

The kingdom of heaven in the hearts of men will create religious unity (not necessarily uniformity) because any and all religious groups composed of such religious believers will be free from all notions of ecclesiastical authority — religious sovereignty. God is spirit, and God gives a fragment of his spirit self to dwell in the heart of man. Spiritually, all men are equal. The kingdom of heaven is free from castes, classes, social levels, and economic groups. We are all brethren.

But the moment we lose sight of the spirit sovereignty of God the Father, some one religion will begin to assert its superiority over other religions; and then, instead of peace on earth and good will among men, there is only dissensions, recriminations, even religious wars. When we look at history, the corpses of wars waged in the name of religion outnumber any other carnage waged on the planet. We all know this, but refuse to stand up to defend those who may not have the same belief system that we do, and in failing to act, we are violating our own beliefs.

Freewill beings who regard themselves as equals, unless they mutually acknowledge themselves as subject to some super-sovereignty, some authority over and above themselves, sooner or later are tempted to try out their ability to gain power and authority over other persons and groups. The concept of equality never brings peace except in the mutual recognition of some over-controlling influence of super-sovereignty.

There can be no lasting religious peace on Earth until all religious groups freely surrender all their notions of divine favor, chosen people, and religious sovereignty. Only when God the Father becomes supreme will men become religious brothers and live together in religious peace on earth.

This is the reality of truth. We are all guilty of not acknowledging this truth. We, in fact, are so earth-centric that it never crosses our mind how in such a vast universe, somehow this religion or that religion as practiced here on this little planet is supreme in all of the universe. On its face, it is ludicrous to have such a notion.

It is the responsibility of ALL religious leaders to recognize the sovereignty lies with GOD and not any man or religious leader. It is the requirement of these leaders to acknowledge this reality and to admonish all to look toward God. With the exception of a few minor religions, all recognize the supreme Creator and all acknowledge that our allegiance should be to that creator, not some radical religious leader, be they Christian, Jew, or Muslim. We are all truly sons of man and sons of God, and by that reality, we are all equal in the eyes of God. We need to leave the judging of our righteousness on earth to God.

Are We Sure We Know What Is Really Going On?

We are basically a nation of good hard working honest people and we seem, on an individual basis, to have a good sense of right and wrong, fairness, and justice. However, we are also a nation that is a bit lazy at finding out the truth and we are, on a geopolitical level, a little under-informed and somewhat clueless. However, in fairness, this may not necessarily be totally to blame on our indolence and indifference. Those traits may be accurate, but are they purposely cultivated by the PTW (Powers that were).

Each year, “Reporters Without Borders” issues a worldwide ranking of nations based on the extent to which they protect or abridge press freedom. The group’s 2015 ranking was released this morning, and the United States is ranked 49th.

That is the lowest ranking ever during the Obama presidency, and the second-lowest ranking for the U.S. since the rankings began in 2002 (in 2006, under Bush, the U.S. was ranked 53rd). The countries immediately ahead of the U.S. are Malta, Niger, Burkino Faso, El Salvador, Tonga, Chile and Botswana.

Some of the U.S.’s closest allies fared even worse, including Saudi Arabia (164), Bahrain (163), Egypt (158), the UAE (120), and Israel (101: “In the West Bank, the Israeli security forces deliberately fired rubber bullets and teargas at Palestinian journalists”; 15 journalists were killed during Israeli attack on Gaza; and “the authorities also stepped up control of program content on their own TV stations during the offensive, banning a spot made by the Israeli NGO B’Tselem that cited the names of 150 children who had been killed in the Gaza Strip”).

To explain the latest drop for the U.S., the press group cited the U.S. government’s persecution of New York Times reporter Jim Risen, as well as the fact that the U.S. “continues its war on information in others, such as WikiLeaks.” Also cited were the numerous arrests of journalists covering the police protests in Ferguson, Missouri (which included The Intercept‘s Ryan Devereaux, who was tear-gassed and shot with a rubber bullet prior to his arrest).

It should come as no surprise that the U.S. continues to plummet in press freedoms under Obama. In October, 2013, the Committee to Protect Freedom issued a scathing denunciation of the U.S. government’s attacks on press freedoms, the first time the U.S. was ever the subject of one of its reports. Written by former Washington Post executive editor Leonard Downie, Jr., it detailed the multiple ways the Obama administration has eroded press freedoms, and concluded:

“The administration’s war on leaks and other efforts to control information are the most aggressive I’ve seen since the Nixon administration, when I was one of the editors involved in The Washington Post’s investigation of Watergate. The 30 experienced Washington journalists at a variety of news organizations whom I interviewed for this report could not remember any precedent.”

That warning echoed the one previously issued by James Goodale, the General Counsel of the New York Times during the Pentagon Papers battle, who said: “President Obama wants to criminalize the reporting of national security information” and “President Obama will surely pass President Richard Nixon as the worst president ever on issues of national security and press freedom.”

This is also demonstrated by the attack on alternative news sources at various websites and blogs. It is unfortunate that the country known for its freedom of expression and the press is in fact not even in the top 50 countries in the world for just exactly those freedoms.

The question we have to ask ourselves is why? What is it that is so feared that it requires our government to be so aggressive in preventing the truth from penetrating our MSM? Well the answer is really fairly simple and it is money and power. When we have just six corporations controlling 96% of all media outlets we get ONLY what the PTW wants us to think and believe.

There are realities and truths out there, that if known by a majority of Americans, would infuriate us and we would be demanding answers. Maybe that is why there is dialogue from the government like anyone talking conspiracies are really terrorists? Really?

A recent well publicized issue, for example, has to do with vaccines. We have heard one side of the story in MSM that vaccines are both safe and effective. Is that really the truth? William Thompson, CDC whistleblower, has been given immunity from prosecution, by the federal government, to testify before Congress about vaccine fraud at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

On Aug. 27, 2014, Thompson, a long-time researcher at the CDC, published a statement through his lawyer, Rick Morgan, admitting that he and colleagues at the CDC violated the protocol in a study on the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine’s connection to autism. The study, which was published in the Journal of Pediatrics in 2004, exonerated the vaccine. However, the study omitted vital data on a group of black babies who showed an increased risk for autism after receiving the MMR vaccine. Since releasing his Aug. 27 statement, Thompson has maintained silence and has refused to talk to reporters. And just recently, Italian courts have ruled that there is a definitive link between vaccines and autism, awarding a family a huge sum for what was determined to be autism induced in their son by vaccination.

So think about this.. The renaissance in the vaccine market continues with strong growth and new prospects to continue to grow this part of the market, which now stands at about $25 billion. Once a commodity market with low margins, the vaccines on the market now include blockbusters and megablockbusters. New candidates for vaccinating against cancers and HIV are also projected to hit the magic milestone. The market is expected to return a compound annual growth rate of more than 8% through 2018, EvaluatePharma projects, with some segments like adult vaccines showing even better.

So here is a real example of the MSM being complicit in not revealing the truth in an important health issue. What is the truth? Are vaccines safe and effective or are there risks we should really be concerned about? The answers to some of the questions seem in fact to contradict what the PTW are saying. For example, the hidden research seems to indicate that the rate of autism is much higher in infants vaccinated under 30 months of age. The hidden information also seems to indicate that the MMR vaccine might not be as effective as advertised and that it is “doctored” with antibodies to make it appear effective. That would seem to be real concerns since 48 of the 110 measles cases in the US so far are in adults WHO WERE VACCINATED.

The Centers for Disease Control issued an alarming report: 1 in 88 US children are afflicted with autism. On March 29, 2012, the US Centers for Disease Control reported startling evidence: the number of children diagnosed with autism in the United States increased 25% between 2006 and 2008. The autism rate jumped from 1 in 100 (2006) to 1 in 88 children (2008).  The autism rate is even higher for boys: one in 54 compared to girls, one in 252. Given these numbers, we need to understand why that the rate of autism in northeastern Ohio, the largest Amish community in the USA with low rates of vaccination, was 1 in 10,000.

freedom of the press 3

Freedom of the press, real journalism, real reporting is really the fifth column of democracy. We need to wake up and start demanding truth and depth in our MSM. We suspect many more revelations to unfold over the next several months, real truths that will shock you to your core. What we need to understand as these revelations surface is to 1). Do not over react and 2). It is partially our own fault we didn’t know.

Welcome to the beginning of real DISCLOSURE.

Dark Days and Bright Futures

The few who have burned within their hearts to find the Ultimate Reality will be permitted to follow these aspirations in the setting of a New World, cleansed and made bright by universal action. These words have meaning to many right now. Those who are really awake have agonized because of the suffering they are witnessing in the world. Brought to tears by the wars and poverty, they see what appears to be no end sight.

As Elisha prayed that other eyes might be opened to see – and eyes were opened, ‘To behold the mountains filled with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha – so do I fervently call that your vision, as well, be lifted up and expanded, as if by a miracle, to perceive that our planet is ‘encompassed about with such a great cloud of witnesses.’ To those who are truly awake, these words have hope for the first time in history.

It is a simple choice really, either you believe in an intelligent creator and a divine plan for the expansion of the universe, with you as a part of the oneness of that plan, or you don’t see the connectivity of everything and feel separate and isolated, with no universal significance to your existence. Either choice may be correct, but the former is logically more likely.

Increasingly, the tendency of the planet and its people is to pull toward an influence designed to destroy the function of free thinking and freedom of man in making his own choices, governing himself, and managing his national affairs. This diabolical influence has penetrated wholly within every phase of Human life and every avenue of world diplomacy and world statesmanship. Predictably, day by day, the freedom of Humanity has been infiltrated with that kind of propaganda which ultimately leads mankind away from their pure heritage as sons of God. However, within each of us, we feel this knowledge and truth that all government will be ‘of the people and for the people and by the people.’ But when the heritage of freedom is destroyed, mankind becomes as puppets on strings, stripped of honor, life, strength, forthrightness and glory! In the long run we know we will not accept such a reality.

Silently the darkness crept in and overshadowed us with its coolness and peace. This peace came with a great cost, our freedom, our dignity, our privacy. It took its toll on our love for one another, and it hardened us to death, murder, violence, poverty, and subjugation. It has created a numbness within our souls. Is this really who we are?

It is not and the awakening of many is beginning to show its momentum to the main stream of reality. But to those spiritually aware, much remains to be accomplished. However, it appears that this present time will be historically looked at as the time we began our evolution to a higher consciousness and a higher destiny. More and more people are not accepting the worn out paradigm of political and nationalistic divisions with their resultant conflicts and wars. The dynamics of false flag attacks and conjured terroristic elements are beginning to appear almost comical and are tired and devoid of their desired effect. As this reality expands, those who wish us to live in fear are becoming more desperate to keep us in that state of fear, and as a result are looking more and more pathetic in their endeavors to accomplish those goals.

family is everything

Our true most intimate lives are about family, freedom, love, and hopes for the future for our children and grandchildren, without exception to where we live, what race we are, or what religion we ascribe to in our beliefs. Anything that is an affront to that reality will ultimately be rejected. This means that ALL of the current political and economical realities are doomed, without exception.

This is the reality that has alluded those who seek power, control, and dominance over us all. It is this blindness that will be their undoing. The unrealistic belief held by these elite is that somehow “they” are better than “us”. There is no “they” and “us” in reality, there is just “us” as one.

So here we sit, on the precipice of our future, knowing the ultimate outcome of this current reality. The only question now is when do we all stand up together, and what are we waiting for?
