Was Scotland’s Electorate Duped Once Again?

It is no surprise to those who are well informed that immediately after the Scottish Independence Referendum was won by the NO campaign on promises of more power to decide issues in Scotland by Scotland, that the British government has already begun to renege on those promises.

The debate over Scotland’s future fizzled amid a bitter war of words Sunday, with the Scottish leader claiming his countrymen were “tricked” into rejecting independence in a referendum and Britain’s three main political parties bickering over how to take political reform forward.

Alex Salmond, Scotland’s outgoing independence leader, accused politicians in London of reneging on their promises to hand more power to Scots in a rare cross-party pact that he said played a crucial role in swinging the votes in favor of union in Thursday’s vote.

His comments came after Prime Minister David Cameron stressed that plans to empower Scots should be linked to constitutional reform in England – a stance that fractured the fragile political consensus and drew attacks from across the spectrum.

Just days earlier, Cameron and his political rivals had joined together in a vow to quickly pass laws to transfer key decision-making powers from London to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. All three party leaders signed off on the pledge, which promised Scots new powers to decide on their tax, budget and welfare policies.

Since then, Cameron said those changes must be made “in tandem” with reform in the House of Commons to bar Scottish lawmakers from having a say on bills that only apply to England and Wales – a longstanding grievance that has come to the fore amid the debate.

He also said it won’t be fair to devolve powers to Scotland without considering similar changes in the rest of the kingdom – England, Wales and Northern Ireland. None of these conditions existed BEFORE the vote.

This is not the first time Cameron has reneged on promises. Remember the EU Treaty? “Millions of people in the rest of the U.K. have been listening to these debates, watching this campaign and rightly asking: `What will change for us? Why can’t we have the same powers and the same rights as those in Scotland?'” Cameron wrote in the Mail on Sunday newspaper.

Critics say that throwing all those questions into one basket dilutes the three leaders’ joint pledge, and will inevitably delay the timetable of the promised return of powers to Scotland. “It’s the people who voted No because they believed these commitments from the Westminster leadership – these are the people who are feeling most angry, most hurt, most disappointed in Scotland today,” Salmond told the BBC. The politician has said he will step down as Scotland’s first minister in November, after the failure of his pro-independence campaign.

All three British parties insisted they would fulfill their vow, though they clearly differed on the English reform question.

Nick Clegg, Cameron’s deputy and leader of the coalition’s junior party, the Liberal Democrats, said the promise to Scots “cannot be made contingent on other constitutional reforms.” The opposition Labour Party’s leader Ed Miliband similarly said that there could be “no ifs, no buts” about delivering new powers to Scotland.

Vernon Bogdanor, a leading constitutional expert who used to teach Cameron at Oxford University, joined others in questioning the prime minister’s ability to deliver reform on time. Cameron had set a rapid timetable, calling for legislation to be published by January and passed before he calls elections.

“Constitutional changes should not be made in a rush or for party advantage,” said Bogdanor, now at King’s College London. “To try and get this through by January or February is absurd.” “He (Cameron) is normally laid back, thoughtful and consensual. He made the concessions without consulting Parliament, and, it appears, without consulting the Cabinet. This appears rushed and panicky,” he added.

Once again, it appears that the original pledges were disingenuous at best, and really just a political ploy to stem the tide of Scottish desire for self-determination after 300 years of British Rule. The vote which came down around 53-47% NO was closer than the numbers would suggest. A close analysis revealed that the majority of NO voters were 55 years old or older, while the majority of YES voters were in the 16 to 35 year old group. The threats of loss of pension and medical benefits were definitely one of the factors in the way the vote turned out. Secondly, since the election, various polls have demonstrated that a lot of older Scots bought the fact that Scotland’s oil revenues would not sustain the country long.

The facts, however, would suggest those points may not be valid. In fact, as we stated in comments from the previous articles would suggest that the Firths in Scotland are far richer in oil and gas than the “official” government estimates and could sustain Scotland well into the 22nd century. In addition, Scotland, as an independent Scotland would be the world’s 14th largest economy, larger than the remaining UK.

In addition, it seems that given the continuing demise of the US Dollar as the petro-dollar, Scotland would have been in a prime position to trade oil and gas for gold and other currencies stronger and more stable than the dollar or GBP. Further it seems that the continuing drain of GBP due to a balance of trade has been borne on the Scot’s oil and for the UK loss of that revenue would be disastrous for the UK’s economy if that export income were to be returned to Scotland. UK outflow was more than double the combined outflow from Germany and Australia and only Japan is currently seeing a faster rate of capital outflow from the country. This year UK has experienced a net 127 billion pound outflow ($206bn), while in 2013 a net 39 billion pounds ($63bn) flowed into the nation’s economy.

Although Salmond will step down as First Minister in November as he promised if he lost the referendum, we wouldn’t be surprised if a second go at an independence referendum is on the horizon for Scotland next year. How does the old saying go that the illustrious President Bush screwed up so bad? “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”.

Scotland’s Vote for Independence will Impact Everyone Globally and Why

Nearly 4.3 million people have registered to vote in Scotland’s referendum on independence, the largest electorate ever recorded in the country. With polls showing the Sept. 18 vote as too close to call, the campaigns are appealing to every niche in that electorate in hopes of tipping the balance. So why is MSM barely covering this story?

The answer has to do with oil, money, power, and bankers. It has to do with the EU solvency, the UK, London based banks solvency, the solvency of the IMF and ECB. It extends to the FED in the US and beyond. It has to do with the western oligarchs “house of cards” that could possibly come tumbling down with Scotland becoming independent. That means it could be the trigger for the whole financial system of the west collapsing in a matter of days. This means it effects everyone globally.

An appeal to history

Throughout the referendum campaign, the polls have shown the “No” camp ahead, although “Yes” voters tend to be more vocal and prominent in public (and willing to talk with journalists). Grosjean teaches at the University of St. Andrews, where she focuses on 17th-century Scottish history, predating when the country signed the Act of Union with England in 1707. “For me, it never seemed an odd concept that Scotland could be independent,” she says. “It had been for about 1,100 years before it joined the union.”

'Yes' campaign people gather for a rally outside the BBC in Glasgow, Scotland

The Gatestone Institute, a New York-based neoconservative think-tank, has argued that Scottish independence will serve to encourage Vladimir Putin to go out and annex Eastern Ukraine as well as “reunite all Russian ethnic minorities in former Soviet republics with the Russian Motherland”.

In an article titled Will Scottish Independence Give Putin Pretext to Annex Eastern Ukraine?, yet another specter of doom is being conjured up, predicting doom and gloom if Scotland would take its destiny in its own hands. Following the recent avalanche of threats and semi-threats from banks, politicians and military experts, the Gatestone Institute dishes out another argument to vote No in the upcoming referendum:

“Putin will certainly use the Scottish precedent in an attempt to try to gain the moral high ground in the conflict over Russian ethnic minorities in Eastern Ukraine”, writes Peter Martino of the Institute, before adding: “Putin in the Kremlin has several reasons to cheer if the Scots decide to go their own way.”

Already Catalonians have taken to the streets, demanding a similar referendum. Flemish regionalists are beginning to stir as they watch the neck and neck race in Scotland running to a fever pitch. Martino argues that all this talk of independence will only serve to weaken NATO’s fist that it has been shaking so violently towards Russia in the last couple of months, allowing Putin to continue along the path of international conquest.

The Gatestone Institute is not the only think-tank dealing the Putin-card in relation to the Scottish issue. On August 26, Business Insider featured a story by one James Cook (ahem) who actually attempts to make the case for the status quo, claiming Scotland would “leave its coastline at risk” as the British naval fleet would almost certainly depart its waters after an independent Scotland is declared.

The thing about Martino’s argument is that one can reach an entirely different conclusion based on the exact same arguments. For example: the increase of regions in Europe declaring independence will make it more difficult for Russia to declare war. After all: instead of fighting, say, the UK and Belgium, Russia would have to declare war on England, Wales, Scotland, Flanders, and Wallonia. NATO’s current golden rule, namely that “an attack on one of us, is an attack on all of us” would become “an attack on one of us, is an attack on each of us”, making Putin’s situation more problematic in the long run, for it would be hard to sustain the antagonism towards an increased number of sovereign nations. Interesting to point out the Institute is being chaired by none other than crazed neocon John Bolton. That’s right, the same John Bolton who cheered on George W. Bush’s Iraq-war so vehemently, he almost knocked himself out.

However, equally important is what is going on in relation to money and investment. Almost $27 billion of financial assets were pulled out of Britain in August in the run up to Scotland’s vote on independence, according to a new report by a London-based consultancy comparing the capital outflow to the Lehman Brothers collapse in 2008. The financial outflow of 16.8 billion pounds ($27 billion) in August was the biggest since the white heat of the 2008 financial crisis when the US bank Lehman Brothers went bust, according to a CrossBorderCapital report compiled by the consultancy and released on Friday.

“Sterling outflows have been an issue since the end of June, but they really gathered pace in August and now look like intensifying again with the possibility of Scottish independence coming to the front of investors’ minds,” said Michael Howell, the managing director of the CrossBorder Capital.

The consultancy pointed out that the figures also dwarfed the selling of UK assets around the 2010 general election, after which there were several days of uncertainty over which parties, in the UK, would form the government. Howell added that UK outflow was more than double the combined outflow from Germany and Australia and only Japan is currently seeing a faster rate of capital outflow from the country. This year UK has experienced a net 127 billion pound outflow ($206bn), while in 2013 a net 39 billion pounds ($63bn) flowed into the nation’s economy, he added. The daily equity flow data pointed to “some of the largest UK equity selling on record, demonstrating investor concerns ahead of the Scottish referendum next week,” said Morgan Stanley on Friday.

On Friday, Deutsche Bank issued a paper criticizing independence and saying that it would be one of the greatest historic mistakes ever made. “A ‘yes’ vote for Scottish independence on Thursday would go down in history as a political and economic mistake as large as Winston Churchill’s decision in 1925 to return the pound to the Gold Standard or the failure of the Federal Reserve to provide sufficient liquidity to the US banking system, which we now know brought on the Great Depression,” said Chief economist David Folkerts-Landau. Deutsche Bank described the desire for independence as ‘incomprehensible’ saying it will entail negative consequences.

Three retail giants joined the debate in a letter to the Scottish Daily Record newspaper on Friday. Sir Ian Cheshire, of B&Q-owner Kingfisher, Marc Bolland, chief executive of Marks & Spencer, and James Timpson, of cobbler and key-cutter Timpson agreed that consumers north of the border will suffer from the country’s exit. “We are concerned about the greater complexity of trading across a national border coupled with the uncertainty over big issues such as the single currency and membership of the EU,” the joint letter read.

Within our group there is first-hand experience of trading across national borders – in France, Ireland and across the world. Our experience is that it always leads to more red tape and higher costs and we feel it is important to share this experience.”We know that running a separate pricing system in Scotland will mean taking the difficult decision as to whether or not to pass on the increased costs through higher prices to Scottish consumers.

However, for Scots the reason to pursue independence now is the policies of the London based UK government related to terrorism and how it can easily cope with this change. The UK is defined now by means of a dual reign of terror, the one being financial terrorism lead by the city of London and the other being Islamic terrorism, recently under the guise of ISIS, which openly aims at overtaking Eurabia too [Link].

Scotland, by nature, seeks neutrality and passive liberal agendas on the stage of global politics. One of the very first acts promised by an Independent Scotland is the immediate expulsions of nuclear weapons from its soil. This could prove extremely problematic for the London based UK government. Housing those weapon systems in England, given their larger Islamic population, could pose an extreme risk.

Also it doesn’t make any sense any more for Petroleum producers to trade its oil for the flimsy GBP, especially when they can get RMB or even gold instead. The “No” side said that while Scotland is currently producing about 2 million barrels per day, but reserves are nearly depleted and will drop to about 500,000 barrels per day by 2040.  However, recently studies have shown that Scotland could be sitting on larger oil and gas reserves in the Scottish Firths than currently predicted, a new independent industry investigation has found. The investigation was undertaken by oil and gaspeople.com, the world’s largest oil and gas industry jobs board, and independent North Sea oil and gas industry experts. The investigation included interviews with industry experts and collated seismic and expert evidence from a range of independent sources such as the British Geological Survey, DECC, oil and gas companies, the Institute of Petroleum Engineering and the Energy Institute.

The investigation shows that the geology of the majority of Scotland’s estuaries or Firths are oil and gas bearing.  In some instances, oil and gas exploration drills and licences by the oil majors were prevented and overturned by the Ministry of Defence, such as in the Firth of Clyde due to the Trident Submarine base despite the presence of oil bearing late Paloeozoic strata. The investigation found that the Scottish Solway Basin has commercially recoverable oil and gas geology. The sea (in the Scottish Solway Basin) is in the same strata as Morecambe Bay, which has the second largest gas field in Britain’s continental shelf. The investigation also found that the Moray Firth is being used by industry experts as a model for other estuaries reserves. The Moray Firth, on the east coast of Scotland, is now a proven area for commercially recoverable oil and gas. If this is replicated across Scottish Firths, oil and gas reserves would rise considerably, the investigation found.

Why now Scottish Independence?

For two main reasons:

  1. Scotland’s main revenue comes from Petroleum production, which is likely to remain expensive due to the turmoil in the long-term Middle-East, coupled with a western boycott on Russian petroleum. This suggests that long-term prospects of economic independence are good, which can then support a political independence too.
  2. England’s financial sector, lying in shambles under a thin-charade, is about to take yet another hit when the world turns from ZIRP to NIRP (from ‘Zero’ to ‘No’ Interest Rate Policy). Shortly after, the global financial sector is about to take the terminal margin call when the CHF is pegged to Gold, thus becomes of limited issuance, thus bears substantial interest rates, thus the rest of the world must follow suit with substantial interest rates, in order to avoid local bank runs [Link].

Scotland should not be afraid of having its own currency, for several reasons:

  1. Its currency can be protected from speculative manipulations by backing it by means of gold and silver, which can still be purchased for affordable prices this late summer.
  1. Scotland can join the BRICS financial bloc, in order to keep itself safe and secure from the US-UK instigated demographic surge & purge strategy.
  1. The GBP is not a reliable alternative, because London’s Financial Virtual Arenas(FVA) which have replaced the good auld markets described by the Scotsman Adam Smith.

Is Scottish independence the next leverage for QE? Instead of the Scottish Petroleum profits directly covering UK debt, they could be re-budgeted Scottish profits, namely accounted for at a newly-minted Scottish central bank, and then on being lent over to the UK to be leveraged at least 10 folds. England is becoming ever more of an Atlantic Pakistan, involved in ‘managed’, i.e. perpetual on purpose, conflicts at home and abroad, on behalf of the globalists.

The choice Scotland faces today is rather simple, in terms of real-politics detailed above and of Roman history, when Northern Scotland sustained its independence. It is not only about independence from the UK (including its failing GBP), but also from EU & NATO which is in some perspectives the resurrection of the Roman empire, in a manner which reminds most people the last days of Rome.

This is done in a wider context of Agenda 21, which practice seems to aim at the global extermination of all but-Muslim populations, and which is perpetrated by the Anglo-Dutch Monarchy, which in turn controls a substantial portion of the world’s production technology and operations of extraction and processing of Petroleum and Natural-Gas.

The remaining British people may benefit from Scottish independence too, because it shall boost the UKIP in coming Parliamentary elections, by ways of example and inspiration, giving it a better chance to lead the opposition instead of the Labor political party; that’s a momentous drift towards British independence from the EU.

Farage, who described PM David Cameron as epitomizing “all that the Scottish people viscerally loathe about England,” said he “has walked straight into a long-planned ambush.” In an article for the Telegraph, Farage described the Scottish National Party as “the voice of anti-Englishness” and claimed that the “Scottish electorate has been sold ‘a pig in a poke.’”

“The problem for the Scots, though, is if they vote yes next week, they will not get independence. Rather, they are voting for rule by Brussels,” Farage said. “As Mr Cameron has brutally discovered, no EU member is truly independent.”

Those supporting a Yes vote have previously argued against claims independence would merely make Scotland a puppet of Brussels. “An independent Scotland will be an enthusiastic member of the EU, in line with our long-held international and outward-looking focus and values,” the SNP’s First Minister Alex Salmond said. “We’ll be able to argue directly for Scotland’s interests and win a better deal for our farmers, fishermen and others.”

SNP ministers said an independent Scotland could negotiate EU membership within an 18-month timescale between the referendum and official independence. Salmond has also hit out at Cameron, who has promised an in-out referendum on Europe if re-elected next year.

“At a time when Scotland’s European future is being placed in jeopardy by a Westminster elite obsessed by UKIP, it is becoming ever clearer that Scotland’s European policy is best decided by people in Scotland,” Salmond told supporters.

Meanwhile, Farage further said that Cameron was wrong to exclude the “devolution max” option from the referendum ballot paper, which would have offered more powers for a Scottish parliament without dismantling the union. “The Scots have no way of keeping a UK link while extending the powers of the Scottish parliament,” said Farage. “I believe this option would have won the day but thanks to Mr Cameron, it is not on offer.”

Farage said the choice on the ballot “plays into Salmond’s hands,” as voters could “stay subject to the English toffs at Westminster who stole their country under the threat of bankruptcy 300 years ago – the Act of Union – or vote to throw off the hated English yoke.”

On Sept. 18, voters in Scotland decide whether or not to end their 307-year union with England and become the newest independent nation in the world.

The uncertainty has prompted an outcry in recent days from big business. Several large companies — including the Royal Bank of Scotland — have said that they will move their headquarters south of the border if Scotland breaks away. Retailers have warned Scottish voters that a “yes” vote will force them to raise prices. Oil company executives have maintained they want to keep drilling amid the stability of Britain. But none of that seems to have swayed large numbers of voters: Polls show that the margin in the referendum remains razor thin, just as it was before the blitz of corporate dismay.

Few doubt that Scotland could make it as an independent country, with banking, tourism and whiskey all contributing to a diversified economy that would lean substantially on oil but not be completely reliant on it. Independence advocates point to statistics showing that an independent Scotland would rank as the 14th-wealthiest country in the world per capita, higher than Britain, with oil and gas accounting for about 15 percent of economic output.

Anyway you look at it, the decision of the people of Scotland for independence will send shock waves throughout the world. From our perspective, an independent Scotland would be one more indicator that the world can change and it will exacerbate and demonstrate the weakness of our current global elitist corporate plutocracy and illustrate how we can lift ourselves from under the yoke of the oligarchs and bankers, when we act together and use our power to vote.

Awakening to the Eternal Consciousness..Learning not to Lie to Ourselves

Many people are talking about awakening, being awake, etc., but what is that exactly? The humorous part is that this is treated like some new and mystical reality. As if, we were NOT meant to be awake. We were always meant to be conscious of our true nature. Once we understand that everything is an illusion, we’re home free. Knowing we’re eternal consciousness having this in-body experience is the greatest gift anyone can possibly have.

It’s wonderful, it’s free and it’s forever…and it’s for everyone! People just need to wake up to it. That would seem to be fairly simple, especially once it has happened to you. The fullness of life you expand into, the realization of infinite possibility, is so exhilarating, liberating and profoundly simple that you can’t help but wonder why everyone doesn’t see it.

This is especially so once the grand conspiracy being foisted on humanity comes into full focus. Things really kick into high gear upon realizing fully what’s going on and why we’re here at this crucial time. The notion that this wonderful realization should be apparent to all soon tempers though, when we remember being in that entranced unconscious state ourselves and how we thought we understood pretty well what life was all about.

How Did It Happen?

Almost all of us were once encased in something that kept us apart from this simple experiential realization. That encasement was both natural and engineered. Natural in the sense that we are spirit born into a physical body, therefore this is a dimensional challenge.

The real problems arise with the cultural and societal constructs we are born into. As helpless infants for an extensive period of time after birth, we are at the complete mercy of whoever is caring for us. Although we are inherently spiritual beings, if this is not corroborated by the spirit and behavior of those around us a type of callous begins to grow to obfuscate that knowledge. Much like waking from a dream and not being able to remember it as a whole different “reality”, takes over our senses.

The War on Consciousness

Children are very often extremely spiritual, often remembering their previous state in detail. Children are born pure. If this inherent spirituality is encouraged and the reality of our true nature reinforced, this would be a very different world.

Those indigenous peoples who were not raised in engineered societies but only within simple cultural guidelines are very spiritual and natural. There is no “waking up”, they just never went to sleep. This is why these rich, conscious native cultures and their shamans have been systematically decimated by the ugly controllers.

So in the overlords’ view the children of the world must be made to conform to a system as limiting and spiritually confining as possible. This will include drugging, mind control, restrictive false education in militaristic institutions, tread mill like jobs, mindless diversions and constant propaganda.

Have you noticed the incredible detachment from reality exhibited by the masses these days? The continued operation of modern society, it seems, depends on people making sure they don’t acknowledge reality (or try to deal with it). “Denial” is what keeps every sector of civilization humming along: medicine, finance, government, agriculture and more.

The trouble with the denial approach is that eventually the lies collide with reality. Until that day comes, however, happy-go-lucky people are merrily enjoying their courtship with self delusion, repeating the lies to themselves as if they were true:

Lie #1) All FDA-approved medications are safe to consume in any combination, because the FDA protects the public.

Lie #2) Food prices keep going up because inflation is a natural force that can’t be halted.

Lie #3) The mainstream media is telling me the truth when it reports on world events.

Lie #4) Chemical food additives are tested for their safety before being widely used across the food supply.

Lie #5) If anything bad happens in terms of a national emergency or natural disaster, the government will take care of me.

Lie #6) Government debt doesn’t matter because the government can simply create more money any time they want.

Lie #7) The history taught to children in public schools is a true and accurate history. Columbus was best friends with the Indians, too!

Lie #8) Fluoride chemicals are good for babies and children, and that’s why cities put fluoride into public water supplies.

Lie #9) Flu shots prevent the flu. That’s why the package inserts for flu vaccines openly state there is no scientific evidence to support any conclusion that influenza vaccines prevent influenza.

Lie #10) Cell phone radiation is harmless. The reason we know that is because the cell phone companies hired scientists to say so.

Lie #11) Local police departments need battlefield military weapons, armored cars and body armor because the drug war demands it.

Lie #12) My vote really counts in national elections. We live in a democracy where the People have power over the government.

Lie #13) My checking and savings accounts are perfectly safe no matter what happens because my bank is FDIC insured.

Lie #14) After I pay off my house, I own it free and clear. (Think again: Property taxes mean you’re only “leasing” it from the county. Stop paying those taxes and you’ll find out very quickly who really owns your home.)

Lie #15) Human civilization is the only intelligent civilization in the entire galaxy. Anything else would simply be too scary to contemplate.

These are just a few of the lies that keep us believing we are NOT slaves and we are NOT imprisoned.

Modern mind control is both technological and psychological. Tests show that simply by exposing the methods of mind control, the effects can be reduced or eliminated, at least for mind control advertising and propaganda. More difficult to counter are the physical intrusions, which the military-industrial complex CONTINUES to develop and improve upon.

  1. Education — This is the most obvious, yet still remains the most insidious. It has always been a would-be dictator’s ultimate fantasy to “educate” naturally impressionable children, thus it has been a central component to Communist and Fascist tyrannies throughout history. No one has been more instrumental in exposing the agenda of modern education than Charlotte Iserbyt — one can begin research into this area by downloading a FREE PDF of her book, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, which lays bare the role of Globalist foundations IN SHAPING a future intended to produce servile drones lorded over by a fully educated, aware elite class.
  2. Advertising and Propaganda – Edward Bernays has been cited as the inventor of the consumerist culture that was designed primarily to target people’s self-image (or lack thereof) IN ORDER TO turn a want into a need. This was initially envisioned for products such as cigarettes, for example. However, Bernays also noted in his 1928 book, Propaganda, that “propaganda is the executive arm of the invisible government.”
  3. Predictive Programming – Many still deny that predictive programming is real. I would invite anyone to examine THE RANGE of documentation put together by Alan Watt and come to any other conclusion. Predictive programming has its origins in predominately elitist Hollywood, where the big screen can offer a big vision of where society is headed. JUST LOOK back at the books and movies which you thought were far-fetched, or “SCIENCE FICTION” and take a close look around at society today. For a detailed breakdown of specific examples, Vigilant Citizen is a great resource that will probably make you look at “entertainment” in a completely different light.

These are just a few examples of the techniques being used in a concerted effort to manage and predict human BEHAVIOR so that the social scientists and the dictatorial elite can control the masses and protect themselves from the fallout of a fully awake free humanity. Only by waking up to their attempts to put us to sleep do we stand a chance of preserving our free will.

You are now playing the waiting game, only you cannot discern the purpose of your waiting. It is time to step up to the next level of your journey. The thing you are waiting for is your own remembrance of the magnificence you are. This remembrance is coded within you and it is connected to an event in your life that will or has already taken place. How you will know that yours has been activated is by the feeling you experience that there is nothing of the old world that holds any interest for you any longer. You are more than ready to leave behind all the old programs and beliefs that were not really yours to begin with. This readiness can sometimes be experienced as depression, lethargy and apathy, the feeling that nothing will ever get better in your day to day life and that there is only chaos and dissolution that surrounds you. Know that when you are experiencing this, you will soon be moving into a higher octave and frequency.

What is called for now is to foster the feeling of gratitude and praise for every moment of your daily life. For every negating thought you have, find 10 things in your life to be grateful for and praise yourself for each one. Every time a self defeating thought surfaces from deep within, take the time to make a list of ten things that are good and are working in your life, even if it seems mundane to your perceptions. The point is to train your mind to think only empowering and nurturing thoughts so that you draw to yourself all that you desire to experience in your daily life. The work that must be done now is to love and nurture yourself. Each of you is very good, even excellent, in giving to others what they need but it is now the time to daily do good to yourselves.

In order to live a magical life, you must BE the magic and you cannot BE the magic if you do not love and honor yourself first. A healthy love of self is required to create the life of your dreams. You must know and feel that you deserve the best life yet. You must also start on that path and get out of waiting mode, for it is yourselves that you have been waiting for, the divine within you is experiencing life as YOU! You have all the resources you need within you and this needs to be tapped into. This will require daily periods of quiet stillness so that you can connect to your core essence. Even five minutes spent in stillness and meditation will reap many benefits for you and this practice will also raise your frequency level which needs to be maintained and sustained so that you can move to an even higher level.

There is always reward from the universe for sustained focus and commitment on a daily basis. As you flourish in every facet of your life, the gap between cause and effect diminishes and the flow of joyous events in your life become manifest through the magic that you embody. As you let your former limitations drop away you release yet another area that allows greater life force to fill you, nourish you and sustain you. In this ongoing releasing and cleansing process, you allow your Higher Self, your Soul, to become a more powerful influence within you and your daily life begins to radiate your true brilliance in all aspects of it. This turn of events brings more gratitude and praise, more heartfelt enthusiasm and passion to well up within you and soon you will find yourselves in a state of continual joy and bliss.

The high spirits you experience will encourage you to stay on this path and the thought of going back to lower density will be totally repugnant to you. It will also allow a powerful and joyful creative energy to fill you and work through you. The gifts you have carried within your DNA are activated and turned on and you begin to share your gifts with others around you. You gain clarity of mind that is attuned to the promptings within your heart and you know always the right thing for you to do. Expect the highest outcome in all that you do and most important of all, BELIEVE in yourselves.

Solar Event Alert – Red Alert

Major Solar Flare and CME
Geoeffective Sunspot 2158 produced a strong solar flare Wednesday afternoon measuring X1.6 at 17:45 UTC. The event was associated with a Type II Radio emission with an estimated velocity of 3750 km/s.

This is indicative of a strong coronal mass ejection. Updated coronagraph imagery shows a full halo coronal mass ejection (CME) heading into space and directed towards Earth. This is the third CME producing event in the last 24 hours and there is the possibility these events can combine before reaching earth. Proton levels streaming past Earth are on the rise and a Minor Radiation Storm is now in progress.

Low and high energy proton levels streaming past our planet are currently on the rise. Watches are now out for a solar radiation storm to take place and this could affect things such as high altitude travel and Earth orbiting satellites. Once the plasma cloud reaches Earth, possibly by as early as Friday, minor to major geomagnetic storming will be possible. This event could interact with an earlier slower moving CME following the M4.5 event from Sept. 9. Sky watchers should remain alert this weekend for visual aurora displays. More updates to follow.

current pressure readings 9_11_14

G2 (Moderate) Storm watch issued by NOAA/SWPC beginning early on Sept. 12. Geomagnetic conditions will of course depend on the strength of the actual incoming shock impact, followed by solar wind characteristics (Bz/IMF) in the hours following any such impact. The coronal mass ejection (CME) was the result of an M4.5 solar flare around region 2158 early Wednesday (UTC).

There is also a 40% chance of additional X Class flares within the next 48 hours. This is an unusual event in that this level of flaring and CME production is coming from a large sunspot that is pointed directly at earth.

Expect satellite communications to be disturbed. Power plant owners should expect power surges. Skywatchers should expect  potentially large auroras, possibly visible as far south as Nebraska.

Why Poverty is a Weapon of Mass Destruction

In the United States, the official poverty rate for 2012 stood at 15 percent based on the national poverty line which is equivalent to around $16 per person per day. Of the 46.5 million Americans living in poverty, 20.4 million live under half the poverty line. This begs the question of just how poor America’s poorest people are.

Using an alternative dataset from the one employed for the official U.S. poverty measure, Shaefer and Edin show that millions of Americans live on less than $2 a day—a threshold commonly used to measure poverty in the developing world. Depending on the exact definitions used, they find that up to 5 percent of American households with children are shown to fall under this parsimonious poverty line.

These numbers are intended to shock—and they succeed. The United States is known for having higher inequality and a less generous social safety net than many affluent countries in Europe, but the acute deprivations that flow from this are less understood. A crude comparison of Shaefer and Edin’s estimates with the World Bank’s official $2 a day poverty estimates for developing economies would place the United States level with or behind a large set of countries, including Russia (0.1 percent), the West Bank and Gaza (0.3 percent), Jordan (1.6 percent), Albania (1.7 percent), urban Argentina (1.9 percent), urban China (3.5 percent), and Thailand (4.1 percent). Many of these countries are recipients of American foreign aid. However, methodologies for measuring poverty differ wildly both within and across countries, so such comparisons and their interpretation demand extreme care.

When we take a closer look at poverty in America, we must understand that poverty is greatest among the most vulnerable of the population. Looking at Mississippi, which is ranked 51st, meaning even Puerto Rico ranks above it, the overall poverty rate is a staggering 24.2%! That is 1 in four who live in poverty! However, it gets worse when you drill down further into the numbers. The child poverty rate is 34.7%, which is one of every three children in Mississippi living in poverty. This clearly demonstrates the third world nature of the scope of the poverty in the US. The poverty rate for people with disabilities is also deplorable at 30.4%.

You can explore where your state stands in detail at http://www.povertyusa.org/the-state-of-poverty/poverty-map-state/#. What you discover may surprise you and what is apparent is that children and people with disabilities are most adversely affected by poverty.

What is more surprising is where the US ranks in the world related to child poverty. A new report by the United Nations Children’s Fund, on the well-being of children in 35 developed nations, turned up some alarming statistics about child poverty. More than one in five American children fall below a relative poverty line, which UNICEF defines as living in a household that earns less than half of the national median. The United States ranks 34th of the 35 countries surveyed, above only Romania and below virtually all of Europe plus Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

The map below gives a comparative sense of the data. The blue countries have less than 10 percent of its children below UNICEF’s relative poverty line, with the red countries approaching 25 percent. Southern European countries, among the most effected by the euro crisis, have some of the worst rates, although none as low as the United States. Former Soviet countries also score poorly. Northern European countries score the highest. English-speaking countries tend to fall somewhere in the middle.

The poor U.S. showing in this data reflects growing income inequality. According to one metric of inequality, a statistical measurement called the gini coefficient, the U.S. economy is one of the most unequal in the developed world. This would explain why the United States, on child poverty, is ranked between Bulgaria and Romania, though Americans are on average six times richer than Bulgarians and Romanians.

Here, from the UNICEF report, is the chart of relative child poverty rates (the grey countries are marked separately because they could not provide data for all other indices and are thus not included in the final rankings):

And finally, when you compare the poverty rate among children in the US and compare it to what we think are the poorest nations in Africa, we would rank worse than some countries that would surprise you.africa poverty

Does this appall you? Does this make you understand the real danger to the America ideal and standing in the world? We should be outraged that we have allowed our leaders to drain our treasures, take the fruits of our labor and fritter them away on wars, and war machines. Without meaning to be too harsh, we are directly responsible for this deplorable state of affairs by our apathetic attitude toward politics. We must understand the raping of America is on-going and if we don’t soon stand up to these political hacks and corporate cronies soon, there will be no one capable of standing because of poverty, hunger, and ignorance. Those ads on TV showing the starving children of the world that pull on your heart strings may have your grand kids photos featured. This is the canary in the mine for the real collapse of America and it already died! Let’s get pissed!

Truth and Deception

As we are bombarded by the new threats of ISIS and ISIL, we must pause for a moment and ask one simple question. Since 2001 when we were “attacked” by so called Al Qeida” what has really happened here in the “homeland”? Well we have spent a vast amount of our treasure. The decade-long American wars in Afghanistan and Iraq end up costing as much as $6 trillion, the equivalent of $75,000 for every American household, calculates the prestigious Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

The human toll of the combined wars is even more horrific. Allied fighters suffered nearly 10,000 deaths and over 70,000 severely wound. The Iraqi population lost nearly 1 million and displaced another 2 million, with over 600,000 orphans. The numbers of Afghani civilian causalities is more difficult to accurately estimate, but are close to half the numbers of Iraqi civilian population, at least.

Add to this the “new threat” that is now ISIS and ISIL. There is no doubt these threats are real in the Middle East, but why now? Do you wonder as you watch the “News” where all of these high quality photos of ISIS and ISIL troops and movements comes from? If we can capture these photos of inside these groups, does it not make sense we could stop them with that quality of intelligence of who they are and where they are?

Remember this? In May of 2013, the Republican war veteran John McCain met rebel leaders inside Syria to discuss their calls for heavy weapons and a no-fly zone to help them topple President Bashar al-Assad and bring the bitter civil war to a conclusion. McCain’s office confirmed to the Guardian that he had slipped into the country in recent days but declined to comment on the outcome of his talks with the rebel groups or whether it had hardened his views on arming them.

The Arizona senator had been leading efforts in Congress to force Barack Obama to intervene in Syria following reports of alleged chemical weapons use by forces loyal to Assad. As the most senior US politician to have visited Syria, his intervention strengthened the hand of hawks in Washington at a time when parallel efforts are being made by the French and British governments to persuade the European Union to lift the arms embargo. So these very rebels are now ISIS and ISIL and are a threat to the mainland of the US and the UK, after we armed them and financed them, along with KSA.

In the meantime the real threat to the US and the EU is economic collapse. The “do nothing for the people” CONgress withdraws support for education, infrastructure, and social programs, “because we cannot afford it” and “government is too big” and corporations profit from wars and government bailouts of banks continue at dramatic rates; and the upper 1/2 of 1% expand their wealth at the fastest rate in modern history. Consider this recent article by Eric Zuesse:

“4.3% of Americans Survive on Less than $2/Day –

That’s Considered Poor in Even the Poorest Lands

Slightly more than one American household with children in every 25 is surviving on less than $2 per day of income from all sources. One quarter of that 4.3% (that’s 1% of all Americans with children) receive less than $1.25 per day. One third (that’s about 1.33% of all Americans) receive between $1.25 and $2. Another third of that 4.3% receive enough government benefits to be living on between $1.25 and $2 a day. A tiny 0.1% of that 4.3% are even surviving somehow on “Negative income & benefits.” On 26 August 2014, the co-authors of a Brookings Institution paper published a chart of those findings (reproduced here below, courtesy of the Brookings Institution) that looks like it might be some painting at the Museum of Modern Art, though what it refers to isn’t nearly so pretty, and is actually quite miserable:

extreme poverty

These findings were originally published in the June 2013 Social Science Review, but have not yet been reported in the mainstream press. That study’s co-authors are H. Luke Shaefer of the University of Michigan, and Kathryn Endin of Harvard. The study was posted online by its funding organization, the National Poverty Center.

Titled, “Rising Extreme Poverty in the United States and the Response of Federal Means-Tested Transfer Programs,” the researchers reported that there has been “an increase in the prevalence of extreme poverty among U.S. households with children between 1996 and 2011.” Furthermore, “The prevalence of extreme poverty has risen sharply since 1996, particularly among those most impacted by the 1996 welfare reform,” which was signed into law by President Bill Clinton and which embodied numerous elements of President Ronald Reagan’s views on poverty. It “replaced a need-based entitlement program, Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), with a more restrictive federal block grant program called Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).” The authors explain as follows the $2/day cutoff they’re focusing on:

The measure of “extreme poverty” used here is based on one of the World Bank’s key indicators of global poverty: $2 per person, per day. Tellingly, the World Bank does not release official estimates for the United States for this metric because it is meant to capture poverty based on “the standards of the poorest countries.” … Living below this metric is widely considered to be a marker of extreme destitution, which is assumed to be very uncommon among wealthy nations.

They further explain:

Households are counted as being in extreme poverty if they report $2 dollars or less per person, per day in total household income in a given month (approximated as $60 per person, per month in 2011 dollars). … The official poverty line for a family of three would equate to roughly $17.00 per person, per day, averaged over a year, so our measure is roughly 13 percent of the official poverty line.

In other words: whereas 4.3% of Americans survive on less than $2/day, many other Americans are also in poverty but are not in the category that is considered as being extreme poverty even in underdeveloped countries; i.e., as being those countries’ poorest residents.

Their Conclusion opens by saying:

As of mid-2011, about 1.65 million households with about 3.55 million children were surviving on $2 or less in cash income per person per day in a given month. … Households in extreme poverty constituted 4.3 percent of all non-elderly households with children. The prevalence of extreme poverty rose sharply between 1996 and 2011, with the highest growth rates found among groups most affected by the 1996 welfare reform.

It would be wrong to conclude that the U.S. safety net is strong, or even adequate, when the number and proportion of households with children surviving on less than $2 per day has risen so dramatically over the past 15 years, even after accounting for means-tested transfers.

This is the first study that explores the United States as a country heading to be an underdeveloped nation from the standpoint even of the direst definition of what constitutes “poverty” —  which is to say, the poorest people in the poorest countries.

President Barack Obama is a strong supporter of the 1996 welfare reform law, and he wants to cut still farther back on “entitlements,” though the entire bottom 20% of Americans have been losing under his Presidency, and only the top 1% of Americans have actually been gaining during his ‘economic recovery’ from Bush’s 2008 crash.

Consequently, America is not only descending into Third-World status, but also, apparently, into the status of being a virtual dictatorship. The bipartisanship in American politics has been descending this country into dictatorship and has also been spreading poverty. Voters have no real  choice remaining, under those conditions. So, this would mean that there are just two parties, both conservative, but one (Republicans) being conservatives who play the role of “the bad cop,” and the other being conservatives who play the role of “the good cop.” Progressivism in America would then be dead; it wouldn’t even be an option, not a viable one in this country, which then would be a conservative dictatorship — that’s fascism.”

While we do not necessarily support the entire opinions expressed by Eric, we certainly cannot deny the facts that are real. As we approach this election cycle, we must realize that by not participating in the electoral process, we are giving our “permission” for this trend to continue. A 15% turnout for mid-term elections is deplorable. We will reap what we sow. Ask the folks in Ferguson, they now understand!

There are some who say that the process is corrupted beyond repair and therefore voting is a meaningless effort as all of the candidates are either “pre-groomed” or will be assimilated in to the corrupt world of capital cronyism. This is an argument that is thousands of years old and it is as wrong now as it was under King George or the Roman Empire. Democracy and Freedom are not free! No one in power ever grants peace and freedom to the people out of the goodness of their hearts, they do so only when they fear the reaction of the people. Every freedom, including economic equality, must be fought for and demanded, and that starts by casting informed votes and monitoring the actions of those we elect to office.

So let’s wake up and start dealing with the real threats to our peace, our freedom, and our economic well being. It is not ISIS or ISIL, it is your local state representatives and senators. It is your US Representatives and Senators. It is both the Democratic and Republican Parties as they currently exist. We need to let these cronies know we know “What’s Up” and that their gig is over.
