Keys to Awakening (Expanding Our Consciousness)

We talk often about awakening. What exactly does that really mean? In the simplest terms, it means the ability to expand your consciousness. We are and we act based on what we perceive. However, because of a number of reasons, including what we are taught and told how to act, we do very little to expand our perceptions (our consciousness). An example, everyone knows that the earth rotates once every 24 hours, and the earth rotates around the sun every 365 days, more or less, but how many of us know how long it takes the sun to rotate around the center of the Milky Way, our galaxy? It is simply a matter of expanded perception. In the world as we know it and our so-called science tells us, all the information is outside of us and therefore this information is the only information to base your perception of what is real. However, is that really true? Religions and Philosophies tell us that the true information of who we are is found by an inward search. What is real? What is the truth? The answer is both. The world “out there” does have a lot of historical information, and the words of many bright minds that have come before us. That information is valuable and contains much truth and wisdom. However making a true effort to travel inward reveals “OUR TRUTH”. That truth which goes a long way in answering the most important question each of us can ask. Who Am I, why am I here, and what is my purpose for being? There are keys to making the journey inward and to unlocking the door to an expanded consciousness:

Woman's Eye and World Globes

  1. The key to meditation is grounding. Because we are made of the same elements, aligning with the energy of Nature and Mother Earth is essential in creating the connection with Source. Meditation in a beautiful outdoor setting is ideal, but at least consciously appreciating the warmth of the sun, a fresh breeze, the smell of the outdoor air on a daily basis can help with your meditation, even if done indoors.
  2. The key to getting to that place of peace in meditation. In order to really expand your consciousness in a meditative state you must understand the difference between being at peace and being IN peace. Trying to be at peace infers that “something”, a thought or an intention, or a reality can disturb and therefore displace your peace. Nothing could be further from the truth. Your soul or your essence is always in peace. Without effort, thought, or intention you can naturally achieve being in this place. Remember, you need NO EFFORT to get there, just be there. As a guru once told me, never give thoughts “bed and breakfast” in this place. Just let thoughts come and go as they please while you are simply the observer. These are not your thoughts of your essence, they are just thoughts of ego and mind. Let them do their dance through your space of peace and let them dance away as well. Come and go, come and go.
  3. The key to raising your vibration is positive emotion. The highest vibrational energy in motion is love. Unconditional love seems an impossibility for most of us to achieve. So remember being a child and pretend you can achieve that state. Sounds a bit corny, but fake it till you make it.
  4. The key to loving another is loving yourself. Loving yourself creates an expansive space within your heart to that allows unconditional love for another. We are taught to judge and guard our actions. This is wrong and it divides your essence. When you judge yourself you are dividing your essence, half to be the judge, and half to be judged. First, dividing your essence is impossible and secondly, you are not capable of judging yourself in the first place. Don’t do it.
  5. The key to loving yourself is recognizing who you are. Loving yourself is loving Source. When you achieve this goal your consciousness will explosively expand. Everyone knows the words that we are part of “the one”, but very few of us have actually experienced being the ONE.
  6. The key to discernment is intuition. Following your gut and it will show you the way every time. You certainly can consider the words of others, including what is being said here. However you are the only person equipped to know your truth. You need no one to tell you that reality.
  7. The key to forgiveness is compassion. The emotional energy of compassion allows for forgiveness which heals wounds and allows us to move forward. In order to expand our consciousness, we must make room for it. Carrying old baggage concerning ourselves and others needs dumped.
  8. The key to faith is trust. Faith is the knowingness that comes from trusting who you are.
  9. The key to receiving is gratitude. Gratitude is the appreciation for the Universe’s gifts. Start with being grateful that you are conscious in the first place. Just thank the Universe for the ability to be aware. It is the place to start expressing gratitude. As your consciousness expands so will the things you will be grateful for having received.
  10. The key to peace is the Golden Rule. If everyone were to treat others as they would want to be treated, the world would be a different place. This is one historical reality that exists in all of the religions of the world, without exception.
  11. The key to standing in your power is knowledge. The knowledge of who and what you are allows for you to take your power back from those who wish to dominate and control you and harvest your energy. YOU ARE NOW AWAKE!
  12. The key to freedom is expansion. Creating the space for expansion will allow humanity to move into a place that is not accessible by a lower vibrational existence. Fear disappears, apprehensions flee, and confidence of who you are and where you are going replace these negative destructive emotions.
  13. The key to spiritual mastery is simplicity. A comprehensive understanding of returning to oneness brings everything into perspective in this experience that we call life. It really is simple. Just be.

Artwork-Collective-Awakening_photo_medium

If you seriously consider these keys on a daily basis and you take an hour to meditate each day in your own way and your own manner using these keys as guidelines, you will become fully awake, in peace, and confident in the manner you will conduct your life. We wish you luck and in the most loving manner possible we all need to wake up.

Health Care- A Right or a Profit Center?

By a huge percentage, the US per capita health care costs are the highest in the world. When we finally got a little relief under the Affordable Health Care act, the compromise was that the government was PROHIBITED from negotiating costs with health care providers and big pharma. Why? The top twenty pharmaceutical companies and their two trade groups, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and Biotechnology Industry Organization, lobbied on at least 1,600 pieces of legislation between 1998 and 2004. According to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics, pharmaceutical companies spent $900 million on lobbying between 1998 and 2005, more than any other industry. During the same period, they donated $89.9 million to federal candidates and political parties, giving approximately three times as much to Republicans as to Democrats.  According to the Center for Public Integrity, from January 2005 through June 2006 alone, the pharmaceutical industry spent approximately $182 million on Federal lobbying. The industry has 1,274 registered lobbyists in Washington D.C.

percapita health care costs

It is estimated that a record $120 million was spent lobbying for health reform.  In addition to direct lobbying, some of the top firms also rewarded members of Congress with campaign contributions through political action committees and individual lobbyist donations.  The largest of these firms, Patton Boggs LLP, contributed more than $55,000,000, almost exclusively to Democrats.

For anyone still under the impression that the major pharmaceutical companies only have our best interests at heart, they should read this eye-opening admission from this Big Pharma CEO. In an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek, Bayer CEO Marijn Dekkers said that his company’s new cancer drug, Nexavar, isn’t “for Indians,” but “for western patients who can afford it.”

The drug, which is particularly effective on late-stage kidney and liver cancer, costs approximately $69,000 per year in India, so in March 2012 an Indian court granted a license to an Indian company to produce the drug at a 97 percent discount.

Bayer sued Natco Pharma Ltd., but in March of last year, the High Court in Mumbai denied its appeal. Bayer CEO called the compulsory license issued by the Indian court “essentially theft,” then said “we did not develop this medicine for Indians…we developed it for western patients who can afford it.”

Nexavar costs approximately $96,000 per year in the United States, but Bayer assures “western patients” that they can have access to the drug for a $100 copay.

In an e-mail to Bloomberg Businessweek, Bristol-Meyers Squibb said that it is “deeply concerned with the deteriorating protections for patented innovative medicines in India.” The court cases that could ensue could tie up the Indian legal system in a manner that makes it impossible for doctors in the country to acquire any version of the drugs at any cost. This is how arrogant big pharma has become that they will blatantly threaten us all. Play the game or we will withhold life saving drugs!

health care insurers

The question is; are we going to continue to allow the dialogue to center on extortion or are we going to demand we begin to have the correct discussion. Is healthcare a business or is healthcare a right that should be available to all people. We can regulate utility costs because we believe affordable access to heat and light are essential needs. Is not healthcare even a more essential need?

It is time that we demand healthcare cost regulations. It is time to end this corruption of our crony congress and demand controls be put in place. It is not just a matter of access to affordable care, it is also the biggest impact on our governmental spending. Yet we remain silent on this issue. We cannot think of a single issue that more dramatically affects us all.  We need to insist of our representatives that in this session of congress meaningful cost controls legislation be introduced and passed. We can disagree on a number of issues, but concerning this singular issue there should be absolute unity. If we cannot rally around the issue of our health and access to affordable care, what can we unite on?

Homelessness In America-The Real Shame of the Greedy Elite and of Our Silence

We are by any measure still the richest nation on the planet, but yet between our prison population and our homeless citizens, nearly 10-15% of our population live in untenable conditions. The MSM, as mouthpieces for the elitists, would have you believe that this population represents criminals, drug addicts, and “takers”. Nothing could be further from the truth.  Congress continues to cut holes in the safety nets and increases spending on the war machines, refuses to correct laws that allows banksters to continue their criminal raping, and subsidizes their corporate cronies and makes fun of the 47% percent called slackers. Ah.. 47% represents nearly HALF our population! Think about that for just a moment.

Here are some disturbing facts:

Nationally, median household income decreased by 1.3 percent between 2010 and 2011, from $51,144 to $50,502. On the whole wages haven’t risen, adjusted for inflation, in the last twenty years.

Between 2010 and 2011, the national poverty rate increased from 15.3 percent to 15.9 percent. This represents an almost 5 percent increase in the number of people living in poverty; more than 48 million people were living in poverty in 2011. Today it is estimated to be closer to 50 million.

Nationally, the number of Americans now living in hunger is an unbelievable 31,000,000.

homeless population

40% of the homeless are veterans.

12,000,000 children are living below the poverty level.

25% of the homeless have a FULL TIME JOB!

While the government claims unemployment at 6.7%, the real rate is near 37%. This means nearly 30% of those unemployed have NO safety net at all. It also means that the rate of unemployed is 5% above what it was during the peak of the last great depression.

currentunemployment rate 1_14Do you actually believe this chart?

Also, due to the recent foreclosures crisis, homelessness has been on the rise.  In the U.S. Conference of Mayor’s 2008 Report, 12 of the 25 cities surveyed reported an increase in homelessness due to foreclosures and another 6 didn’t have enough data to be sure.  So what is it now in the winter of 2014? What is government’s solution to the problem?

  • City council members in Columbia, South Carolina, concerned that the city was becoming a “magnet for homeless people,” passed an ordinance giving the homeless the option to either relocate or get arrested. The council later rescinded the ordinance, after backlash from police officers, city workers, and advocates.
  • Last year, Tampa, Florida — which had the most homeless people for a mid-sized city — passed an  ordinance allowing police officers to arrest anyone they saw sleeping in public, or “storing personal property in public.” The city followed up with a ban on panhandling downtown, and other locations around the city.
  • Philadelphia took a somewhat different approach, with a law banning the feeding of homeless people on city parkland. Religious groups objected to the ban, and announced that they would not obey it.
  • Raleigh, North Carolina took the step of asking religious groups to stop their longstanding practice of feeding the homeless in a downtown park on weekends. Religious leaders announced that they would risk arrest rather than stop.

Is this what we have become? We really don’t like to continually report on these realities. We don’t like what we see and know. However, until we collectively stand up, this reality will get even worse. Have we all forgotten who we are as individuals? Do we not have any longer a sense of justice, a modicum of compassion? Where did our sense of civic responsibility go? Where did our pride in ourselves, our community, and our nation go? How did we lose it?

Most of the nation is in a deep freeze as we write this article, tonight at least 2,000,000 children are huddled in whatever shelter they can find to keep warm, mostly cars parked just out of sight. When are we going to finally say no more? When?

Waking Up First, Acting Up Second, Demanding Equality

In our ongoing efforts to help wake ourselves up, it is important to understand that failure to awaken is tantamount to dying, in every sense of that word. Part of this understanding is we have to understand that we, the majority of the world, are victims of own lack of uniting together to change our reality.

Did you know that the 85 richest people in the world have about as much wealth as the poorest 50% of the entire global population does?  In other words, 85 extremely wealthy individuals have about as much wealth as the poorest 3,500,000,000 have.  This shocking statistic comes from a new report on global poverty by Oxfam.  And actually Oxfam’s report probably significantly underestimates the true scope of the problem, because Oxfam relies on publicly reported numbers.  At the very top of the food chain, the global elite are masters at hiding their wealth. The global elite have approximately 32 trillion dollars (that we know about) stashed in offshore banks around the world.  That would be about enough to pay off the entire U.S. national debt and still buy every good and service produced in the United States for an entire year.

There is certainly nothing wrong with making money.  However, when the scales become this unbalanced it is time to correct this injustice. 4 billion people on this planet live on less than $2 per day. Now the reality is that there isn’t a snow ball’s chance of “making it”. Today, we have a debt-based global financial system which is dominated by gigantic predator corporations and big banks.  Working together with national governments, these corporations and banks have constructed a system called “Corporatism” in which the percentage of all global wealth that is being funneled to the very top of the pyramid steadily grows over time. That wealth has expanded by 42% just in the last five years.

This isn’t just a phenomena in the US, or the developed nations, this is also happening in virtually every other nation on the face of the planet.  The global elite have rigged the game to send just about all of the rewards their way, and it is working.  The following are facts taken directly from Oxfam’s latest report

•Almost half of the world’s wealth is now owned by just one percent of the population.

The wealth of the one percent richest people in the world amounts to $110 trillion. That’s 65 times the total wealth of the bottom half of the world’s population.

•The bottom half of the world’s population owns the same as the richest 85 people in the world.

•Seven out of ten people live in countries where economic inequality has increased in the last 30 years.

•The richest one percent increased their share of income in 24 out of 26 countries for which we have data between 1980 and 2012.

In the US, the wealthiest one percent captured 95 percent of post-financial crisis growth since 2009, while the bottom 90 percent became poorer.

Here are the factual impacts from this reality? In a memo to clients provided to Secrets, David John Marotta calculates, that in the US,  the actual unemployment rate of those not working at a sky-high 37.2 percent, not the 6.7 percent advertised by the Fed, and the Misery Index at over 14, not the 8 claimed by the government. In The rest of the world it is equivalent to that or higher.

In fact, as the elites meet in Davos next week, we are facing conditions never experienced in modern times on a global basis. The elite will give lip service to income inequality, but they honestly have no basis to understand the misery their greed has inflicted. However, they do have a sense of impending danger to their safety. They do worry that revolt is rising globally and that their personal safety may be in jeopardy, but it is unlikely that anything effective, like a redistribution of wealth, will come from  Davos.

It is time for us to stand up together, globally, and remove these shackles. We must do it in a non violent, but determined manner. A million people every day in every capital of the world standing and demanding economic parity, dignity, our fair share in the form of livable wages, reasonable access to shelter, education, health care, and economic opportunity, It is time we take the responsibility to act up and speak up. No one or no government is going to do it for us. It is time we stop fooling ourselves, and lying to ourselves that it is going to be OK. Surely someone will take care of this. No one is going to do this except us. We really have to get that before it is too late.

Just What Are We to Awaken To?

Much is being written and circulated on the internet concerning the New Age, the Awakening, Ascension, the Kali Yuga, the Hopi’s stories of transition to the Fifth World. Millions of people globally are aware of these stories and theories. These are accompanied by many stories of Off-World assistance by any number of “higher dimensional entities and races, and ascended masters such as Sananda, Ashtar, St. Germain. It includes support from other races within our galaxy such as the Pleiadians, Lyrians, Zetas, “Tall Whites” , Nordics, Acturians, and on and on it goes.

We have been waiting for the “disclosure”, “the event”, and “the prosperity funds” since at least 2008. Nothing of any real substance has manifested. The reasons given for the failure for these things manifesting vary from disagreement among the “off-worlders to dark forces retaining power and control, to not enough people have “raised their frequency and consciousness”.

However, with all of above stated, globally, these are also exciting and momentous times to be alive and take a stand for freedom at home and around the planet. The times, they are a changing still. The current tide is shifting away from tyranny and towards enhanced and expanded freedoms. The chains of human bondage will be broken and a new generation will unleash a mighty power rarely seen on earth.

As we have seen in Egypt, Libya, Yemen, sporadically in the EU, as in Iceland and Ireland, it can be effective to stand up for our individual sovereignty; to challenge authority and the established worldview. The true people who are changing their reality are those not to found in the brain-dead, stupefied public without the willpower to defend their most basic self-interest, rights and freedom. For these are lost sheep. For these are all too willing to accept their conditioning and indoctrination without questioning authority or the source of the beliefs.

The true pioneers and architects of global change are not to be found in our current leadership or on television. New leadership is nonetheless emerging and there will you find the hope and the prayers for future generations. These leaders are invisible, sometimes hard to find, but existent. They are not born, but made. They are the ones with the courage to blow whistles, or refuse orders to engage in conflicts and wars. Some are known to us, but the vast majority are not in the public view.

They are not inspired by the New Age jabber, or are being guided by off world influence. Instead they are individuals who simply desire freedom and truth. They are individuals who stand up for our individual sovereignty, and they challenge authority and the established world view. They have examined their beliefs and freed their minds. They have learned to have compassion and love for our so-called enemies, enemies defined by politicians and a manipulative media. They share a common belief that a life unquestioned and unexamined is not a life worth living.

However, most of all, they are demanding there must be honesty in all we do, and how we are governed. They have said enough of the lies, deceit and dishonesty that have crafted a grand illusion upon the state of the nations. They have said enough of the false promises of security and comfort leading ever more dangerously towards tyranny.

Shouldn’t we all tell the whole truth and nothing but?  It is the most ancient and sacred vow of honor to dare to speak the truth. If we are blind to the tyranny arising around us, then take a good look around. If we fail to notice the signs, the writing on the wall, then we may also fail to notice our liberties and property are under attack, not by enemies from foreign countries, but from within by our own so-called “governments.”

If we truly want a future for our children with any hope of security and prosperity, we must uncover and reveal the hidden truths about our history, law, economics and politics so we all can reclaim our Creator-given rights and liberties as a sovereign people.  We must all daily look into the mirror and ask:

What am I doing with my life?

Why is it such a struggle?

I work so hard; yet can barely stay ahead of the bills.

What’s wrong with this picture?

There must be something more.

What is my purpose for being here?

We the People are caught in the crossfire of a global assault on the sovereignty of both Citizens and the Law of Nations. An “invisible” and secret war is being waged against the majority of people globally for the benefit of an elite aristocracy and consortium of international bankers bent on attaining global empire at the expense of all the Citizens of the world.  The ironic part of this reality is collectively we absolutely know this true! By any measure of economics or law, we know this true.

Give these truths then, what is going to take to correct this social injustice? First and foremost, we are the ones we have been waiting for, as no one but ourselves is going to change the world. We have to realize We the People have been programmed, conditioned and educated to see, feel, think, and act socially and “politically correct.” Political correctness is social programming promulgated by the traditional Left—don’t ask, don’t speak, don’t dissent. It corresponds perfectly with the religious fundamentalist programming of the traditional Right. Both are mind numbing, mind-controlling propaganda machines.

This is in alignment with a global design and strategy that’s so subtle, so invisible, yet so pervasive that very few of our best intellects have broken the veil. Our flag-waving, hollow patriotism often doesn’t reflect the actual realities of nations today as much as it worships the hollow, superficial and mythological symbols of our past.

So Step One is simple. Stop lying to ourselves. Step Two is to reclaim our individual freedoms and sovereignty.  Step Three is to accomplish Steps One and Two in a non-violent honorable manner.

Just some thoughts.

What Do You Believe?

There are many people who are awake and actively trying to bring change into the world. There are billions more who know and yearn for a world where everyone has equal opportunities, access to food and health care and decent shelter. But alas we suffer from cognitive dissonance. We collectively know what must be done, but we also believe we are always going to fail. We will never end poverty. We will never fix education. We will never fix the economy.

The reality is we have no idea how powerful cognitive dissonance is. People will go through all kinds of mental gymnastics to avoid facts of painful issues. Therefore we will never have enough people to stand against the oligarchs of the world. Sadly, at least for the past few hundred years, this has been our reality. These beliefs have been challenged in those ensuing years by those brave enough, committed enough, and even powerful enough to make a difference, but in the end they were simply gunned down, literally. Everyone knows the initials JFK, RFK, and MLK. There have however been a very few who did succeed such as Ghandi or Mandela, at least for a little while.

Lincoln said: “Passion has helped us; but can do so no more. It will in future be our enemy. Reason, cold, calculating, unimpassioned reason, must furnish all the materials for our future support and defense.–Let those materials be moulded into general intelligence, sound morality, and in particular, a reverence for the constitution and laws.” – Lyceum Address, 1838.

We have to begin to understand how we are manipulated on a daily basis by the many agents of the oligarchy through a tightly controlled global media. First, however, we need to overcome our sense of helpless, unworthiness, and fear. A simply way is to do the basic arithmetic. We are 99, and they are 1, keeping saying over and over again, 99 to 1. Through this simple exercise we can begin to know we are not helplessness and there is no need to be fearful of any government or agency.

This will be a year when many “truths” will emerge. Truth about market manipulation, corruption of those we entrusted to lead us and those we counted on to keep us safe. As these realities become clear and commonly understood, there will be a tendency to react with anger and violence. This we must avoid at all cost. Martin Luther King said it best, “The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

T&R2

There will be shocking revelations about criminal banking activities, rigged elections, the withholding of new energy breakthroughs and mass media lies and manipulations. Evidence will be made public concerning the cover-ups related to UFO’s and multiple governments’ knowledge of other life in the universe. We will discover multiple cover-ups concerning the wars that have been prosecuted over the last few decades and how they were contrived and carried out for the profit of a few. We will be appalled at the deliberate manipulations of our very health.

Any single one of these revelations will collectively make us angry, but we, in 2014, will be exposed to many of these realities. As these revelations unfold, we must commit to the following approaches.

1). None of these realities would have occurred if it weren’t for our lack of unity, thereby giving indirect consent and the appearance we didn’t care for our fellow human beings (tough love).

2). We must now stand together globally as a single race, the human race, and address these issues and those responsible in a unified and civilized manner.

3). In order to rapidly correct these various injustices, we must support a concept of truth and reconciliation.  The freedom for criminals to repent and live the short amount of time they have remaining in their physical bodies in peace is an attractive deal for them and us. We receive an end to war, rapidly end poverty, recover trillions of missing public money (hopefully), reclaim our civil rights, open suppressed technologies like free energy and avoid war from a cornered enemy who fears prosecution for treason. They receive all their remaining years to live in freedom and some would argue that we give them further incentive for reasonable material comfort and reclaim their connection and love for humanity; their very soul. T&R remains open for anyone to come forward and for anyone named to testify under oath. Those who choose to not cooperate and/or lie under oath are subject to full prosecution under the law when the window for T&R closes.

truth and reconcillation

It is time to stand up without fear. It is time we all stand up and demand an end to these atrocities in a non-violent, but determined way. This is what we all should be discussing, not the crap we are told are the “issues” by a manipulative mass media. What do you believe?

2014 Where Are We Going?

We have been steadily at work on this blog for nearly 5 years now. Our goal at first was just to highlight news events we thought were not be adequately covered by Main Stream Media. Events that we thought affected us all and things we should know about that we might not otherwise know that were impacting all of our lives. Certainly the financial crisis was one of those issues. Corrupt do nothing politicians fit in that category as well. The focus has not necessarily been on the US, because these issues had tremendous global impacts and still do.

2014

Since we began we have chronicled the housing bubble, the outright criminal acts of our banking system, the collapse of our infrastructure, the sad decay of our educational systems, and through it all we watched our leaders play political games for their own self-interest and rarely did they act in a manner they were oath-bound to perform; mainly to serve the general good of the public.

We watched nations implode, poverty increase, wars upon wars erupt, police states arise, liberties taken away, and on the rare occasions we saw people stand up, only to be put back down. During it all, we wondered, “why don’t people wake up?” Surely with all of the alternative ways real information is flowing people will wake up. However, except for a few isolated victories, people have not awakened. It has perplexed us, confounded our efforts, and at times made us weary.

How could we help bring some energy to a meaningful awakening? There is some energy out there but it is the energy that accompanies almost any abstract endeavor. As a whole, we feel no personal danger; we have no sense of an impending crisis in our lives. Stupidly, with a kind of smug removal that we can’t begin to fathom, we assume that the problems of killing, dying, and impoverishment do not fall within our special province. But most assuredly, as any family of a dead or severely wounded soldier can attest, sooner or later it does invade our province. Surely as anyone who has lost their home or lost their life’s work can affirm these issues can come to roost at your house.

awakening

Just how did we get to this place of blind, thoughtless, automatic acquiescence to it all, our simple-minded patriotism, our prideful ignorance? We don’t exclude ourselves here and we certainly don’t have any straight forward answers to these questions. No, instead, we just know these are the right questions. We could easily blame it all on the mind numbing media content or the meaningless distractions that make up TV in the evening, but somehow that seems to mean we have abdicated our ability to think, and we are not ready to accept that we or our readers are zombies just yet.

What we do know is that most of us don’t know a damn thing about the true nature of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Africa, Iran, or how the banksters and politicians actually get away with stealing our money and our blood, so we pretend we do and then like jay-birds we start repeating the talking points fed to us by whatever media we ascribe to, whether that’s FOX, CNN, or MSNBC, and based on whether we consider ourselves liberal, conservative, or libertarian, whatever that even means. After all it is all so damn complicated, isn’t it?

Maybe that’s the point, the world is a very complicated, intertwined dynamic space requiring most of us to have to really read, research, and know the issues. For most of us, we simply cannot dedicate the time to get to know the facts as our own survival requires most of our energy. But here is the rub, if we acquiescence to it all and don’t respond we all may wind up laboring our entire lives for “the man” and there will be very little for us, our children, and our grandchildren. This reality is not without historical precedence. It has happened many times in the past. It is the nature of humans that a few non moral sociopathic greedy bunch eventual wind up holding all the power and gold. That is the issue we must and can understand. It is quite simple really. It is no one’s fault and there is no one to be angry with for this reality. It is inherent in human nature. This fact is simple and easy to understand. It’s not complicated.

It is also the reality that if this inequality is not addressed, it will eventually lead to a violent and bloody correction. History has also demonstrated that many times over. It is woven in our lore of our sense of good and bad, right and wrong, moral and immoral. It is where the true heroes and patriots were born that we all know by name in whatever country we live.

Awakening-Buddha-Yellow

2014 is no doubt a pivotal year. So, it seems the question before the whole world is simple. Are we going to just repeat the cycles of past history or have we evolved to a point where we can calmly, peacefully stand up together and correct these inequalities in a civil manner, or not? It is something we can all ponder in the silence of our minds as it really isn’t that complicated.
