SOLAR ALERT!

First, I apologize to my regular readers for the long absence of articles.  We are working on a major piece we hope to have published shortly.  However as we continue to monitor the important geophysical situations globally and astronomically, we have an urgent message and warning, especially for those who rely heavily on communications , especially satellite uplinks.

We have observed A powerful solar flare reaching X5.4 peaked at 00:24 UTC early Monday morning. This flare is the second largest flare of this solar cycle and it is geo-positioned to have a significant earth impact. The flare was centered around Sunspot 1429 and produced a bright CME.

 

This flare was generated as we said from Sunspot #1429 which has been the most violently active magnetic disturbance we seen to date is this cycle.  Prior to spawning this monster flare, #1429 has already produced a number of M-Class flares and a few X-Class flares as well, but the area had not rotated into a position  to significantly impact the Earth.  However, it is just beginning its rotation to a geo-effective position, so we can possibly have several more days of this intense activity.

The pressure is already building on the earth.

For most of us, this is probably just going to be an opportunity to see the “Northern Lights”.  However, expect some major communications disruptions, especially during the day on March 8th, and if you believe some theorist, we can also expect some major seismic event somewhere during this same time.  Our concern extends into the future, as this sunspot has really gotten some teeth and is demonstrating its willingness to show them.

We will keep everyone posted as we monitor this situation further.  It may also be a good idea to run generator checks and battery testing, etc.  Just in case.

 

Warning – Situation Update #7 – Elevated to Orange

Solar activity is increasing.  Solar activity increased to moderate levels Monday with three M-Class flares taking place around a big new Sunspot numbered 1339.  In addition, sunspot 1338 is also rotating in earth view on the lower limb.  Both of these sunspots are extremely large and having been spawning both M and X class flares.  Within the next two days we are expecting a lot of activity.  What to expect and prepare for is both a potential loss of communications as these flares blast past the satellites and there is a significant concern that some of these flares will affect the global power grid.  At the current time it appears the main effects could be felt on the western side of the US and Central America as related to the potential for power outages.  In addition, these types of impacts are felt to be associated with increased seismic activity.  Indeed we are seeing a spike in 5-6 magnitude quakes already today. As we have been posting, our greatest concerns related to increased seismic activity is focused off the coast of Japan and most importantly the activity in the Canary Islands.  The latest report from the Canary Islands bears out our concerns.  The swarms of earthquakes in the region has exceeded over 1,000 in the last 36 hours.

October 30, 2011 – CANARY ISLANDS – The National Geographic Institute has confirmed this morning at the direction of the Civil Protection Plan for Volcanic Risk (Pevolca) a magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck northwest of Frontera, located in the sea at a depth of 22 miles deep. The earthquake was followed by a 3.2 magnitude aftershock which struck at a depth of 19 km. The quake, which was felt by the population, occurred at 07.46 hours and is the largest earthquake recorded in the island after the onset of the eruption south of La Restinga. The Emergency Coordination Center and Security (CECOES) received 1-1-2 calls from the towns of Isora, Guarazoca, Mocanal (Valverde) and Tigaday (Border). The evolution of seismicity in the north of the island has increased in recent days and scientists, who are monitoring constantly all possible scenarios, still cannot ascertain what this new activity means. In this sense, they are inclined to believe that this new activity could be producing a seamount. Moreover, those responsible for the IGN have confirmed that yesterday, 62 earthquakes were reported along this region with two of them being felt by the population. The earthquake of greatest magnitude in yesterday’s swarm reached a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale. This movement has been located at sea in the Gulf area about 4 miles from the coast at a depth of 23 kilometers. It has been felt by the population with maximum intensity IV in the town of Valverde. The depths vary between 15 km and 25 km. In total, since the day July 17, 2011, the island of El Hierro has been shaken by more than 10, 615 earthquakes. According to reports from scientists at the University of Cadiz, and with reference to the deformation of the ground, this continues in two separate scenarios. The south of the island shows a remission in increasing deformation, clearly marked by the eruption process and that is evident in the data recorded in the GPS station of La Restinga. However, in the north of the island, there is an increased component of deformation component to the North and the East. –Europa Press translated.

So East Coasters continue to monitor this situation closely.  Also we are also seeing increased significant seismic activity off the coast of South America which we feel should be monitored closely by our friends in Brazil Argentina, Chile, and Peru.  We will continue to monitor the situation and update as warranted.

Trying to Make Sense of the Madness

When we look at the world from our monitoring perspective, we could be overwhelmed with what we are monitoring right now. Really, can anyone remember any time in history, save the fall of Rome and the onset of the dark ages that has been more chaotic than the present time?

From Nature’s side, we have global warming, with its associated weather extremes, seismic activity unlike any every observed, both in frequency and intensity, and we are experiencing the effects of hyper solar activity that so far has only produced a few power outages and spectacular auroras not being seen to the  middle of the States, Russia, Asia, and Europe since the 19^th century.  Also, there is this lingering question that can’t be “put to bed” about comets, meteorites, and the so-called Planet X, Nibiru, or the Brown Dwarf, depending on whom you are reading.

On the political/social side of the equation, there are 40 some conflicts on-going, governments are being overthrown, and civil disobedience is ongoing in over 150 cities as of this writing.  In addition, the economies of the world are incredibly weak or collapsing, and the lack of will of the oligarchy and politicians to “do the right thing” is stark naked.  One cannot see any positive outcomes in the near future, and certainly can envision “worst case” scenarios unfolding in the next 6 months or year.  Rumors are flying of WW3 sparking off anytime.

So what are we suppose to think and do about all of this?  How do we cope, and in all too many real cases, survive?

If we look at all of the “elements” of this current time, we can see and know from our history there is nothing new here, only now just all at once.  Great earth changes – check, we have done that before.  Greedy and powerful oligarchies running roughshod over the economies of the world-check, our history books are full of accounts of these bastards.  Power hungry politicians prostituting themselves to the powerful-what’s new about that?

So why do we collectively feel that this time is more significant than all the times before?

Maybe, just maybe, it is genetically encoded in our essential being.  It seems that the most accurate prophetic descriptions of these times are contained in the history and culture of the oldest humans on the planets, such as the Hopis, the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia, and the Native South and Central Americans.

And indeed, the current keepers of the knowledge of these peoples have provided the most healing advice for us to consider during the current times.  I provide a few here for your consideration and it is our hope they may even give you a little peace.

But many sites are still shrouded in jungle . . . yet to be discovered. It doesn’t matter if the sites are discovered. The seals to the Fifth World have been broken free. The Hopi Elders tells us that our Mother Earth and we are going through a purification process prior to entering into the Fifth World.  This Purification is presented here.

Purification involves a number of elements:

Repentance, or rethinking, of the Two-headed Way of Life. This involves commitment, deep knowing that we are all One, acceptance of personal power to create change, and following our inner guidance. It is good to do this in groups, because it reminds us that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Also, as individuals, we are so rooted in our Two-hearted ways that we need others to help point them out to us. Once we as a group have identified and committed to a One-hearted vision, we can begin to live it, first within the group, then increasingly in the outer Two-hearted world. Then like-minded groups may join together to form ‘villages,’ ready for when the Two-hearted Path collapses in ruins.

Sovereignty, or self-respect, and respect for the sovereignty of others. It is also about taking responsibility for our creations and good stewardship for whatever is in our sphere of influence. For example, the Fifth World view of the planet is as a partner to be nurtured rather than as a resource to be consumed and discarded. Also, wealth and abundance will not be hoarded by those whose lands produce it, but will be shared equitably. Finally, any decision about stewardship will never be short-term but will consider the impact on future generations.

Truthfulness. Confusion over ‘what should be’ versus ‘what is’ separates us from the realities of life. We look for quick fixes, Hollywood endings and the latest fads rather than ‘walking the talk’ and ‘doing the work.’ One group may import ‘what works’ from another group and impose it on themselves, but disharmony may result. This leads to strife, conflict, and even war. Other cultures become too complex and collapse under their own weight, thrusting the people into anarchy until new ways are found. This is the inevitable outcome of the Two-hearted Path, and we are seeing its effects now as fewer and fewer Americans believe that government is ‘by the people, for the people.’ Our lives float between hope and fear, unrooted in ‘what is.’ From the moment of our birth, we are indoctrinated into membership of our culture, with prison or asylum awaiting dissenters. We leave school, trained to become ‘another brick in the wall,’ mindlessly perpetuating the Two-hearted Path. The Hopi language has no equivalent of, “I’m busy,” or, “I’m sorry.” Busy-ness and apology are not part of the One-hearted Path; and will not carry us through the collapse of the Fourth World and emergence into the Fifth.

It is an amazing time for us all.  When we look specifically at what is happening in the streets and parks of our cities today, this just may be that “unplugging” occurring.  We need not be frightened.  We need to look optimistically to the future.  The time to blame others is over, but it also the time that each and every one of us demand that every human be treated with dignity and respect.  It is no longer about money, power, or might.  Now is the time for all of us to start taking care of all of us, making this a new world.

The Month of Shocktober

We have posted several Warning/Situation Updates and we will continue to do so as information dictates.  The solar surface has been relatively quiet, although a still large un-numbered solar sunspot is just beginning to rotate into view and the earth facing sun surface has #1305 and #1313 still earth facing and could still be the sources of a large CME.

In addition, the Canary Islands El Heirro volcano still bears watching.  Swarms of earthquakes are continuing sporadically and have increased in intensity and the depth of the quakes is more shallow,  both of those facts RAISES concern.  Below is the latest press release from Spanish officials.

“October 8, 2011 – CANARY ISLANDS – An intensified sustained earthquake swarm is now taking place at the Canary Islands and it appears the magma is now on the move again bubbling closer to the surface and incinerating more rock in the process. Over the last 24 hours, we’ve seen the depths of the tremors rising up to within 11 km from a depth average of about 14.5 to 15 km. The number of seismic volcanic tremors has also doubled at El Hierro since Wednesday. On Wednesday, October 5, there were 79 recorded seismic events. On Thursday, there were 160 and on Friday, October 7th, there were 177.”

Our concern over this situation is the potential for a large land mass sliding into the ocean creating a mega-tsunami directed at the East Coast of the US and South America.  The focus of this concern is that IF a tsunami were to occur, the East Coast of the Americas would have only 8-9 hours to take any preventive measures.  IF the tsunami were to occur at say midnight EDT, then most of the residents in the danger zone would be asleep, not have any communication devices on during the valuable time they would need to get to safety.

If you live in the areas of potential danger, and until this situation stabilizes, you should think about getting the information you would need in a timely fashion.  This concern is amplified by the fact that the USGS service is not even REPORTING anything on this situation.  We are recommending taking these actions:

1).  You can monitor that activity at The European-Mediterranean Seismological Center . Do so at least twice a day.

2).  As with an emergency plan, make sure you have a way to communicate with each other 24 hours a day.  So as some of you sleep, others are awake and monitoring the situation.  We can’t emphasize enough that in this particular situation, every minute will be precious.

3).  Be sure about your evacuation plan.  Again, those with the information first will be the ones who will most likely be successful in escaping and will not be the ones stuck in grid-lock.  I think you could imagine that the roads will become impassable very quickly when every coastal citizen is trying to go west and to high ground.

However, as we monitor natural dangers, we also monitor financial and political situations as well. Given the current situation in the EU concerning Greece, Italy, Ireland, Spain, and Portugal, and the lack of action and political grid-lock in Germany, France, and to a lesser degree the UK, the collapse of the EU could occur within the next two weeks.  Based on information provided us privately, it is no longer a question of IF, only WHEN, and those in the know say it could be this week coming up (October 10-17^th).

Some would say, OK, why would this be any different than the 2008 financial event in the US?  Well, consider that the EU CANNOT “bail-out” countries like we bailed out banks.  In addition, the bastard child in the room is the world’s derivatives market.  If the EU goes down, investors would only be holding all those credit swaps, etc. which would all be exercised at once.  This is the monster.  It is a $500 Trillion monster!  To put this insanity into perspective, that is almost 10 tens the world’s GDP as estimated by the World Bank for 2010, which was just a little north of $63 Trillion!

This, simply stated, ends the world economy as we know it, and it would all unravel within a matter of 7-10 days.  Markets and banks close immediately, riots ensue within 48 hours and chaos is real for EVERYONE.  We are now elevating our watch of this situation.  Anything that would even trigger rumors at this point could tip the bus over the cliff.  While we have been writing about this since we began, we now see real events beginning to form that toxic situation that could trigger this financial tsunami and soon.

One of the major concerns are the threats being issued by the so-called “Anonymous”, the group believed responsible for kicking off the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement.  They have specifically threatened to “attack” the global electronic banking system during this period.  If the markets were forced to close because of such attack, it could be the “gunshot” that panics the herd into a stampede to “preserve” what is left in value in the market.  

We know that these situations all together seem a bit overwhelming.  It makes us step back and want to just go fishing.  However, the reality is we will survive all of this and more!  We simply want everyone to be awake and alert.  It is the LERTS that will survive and we want everyone to survive.  Too many of us have already paid the ultimate sacrifice as a result of the events unfolding.  Each loss is a loss to each and every one of us. Whether it was a soldier or civilian killed in the various wars, or the death of a protestor in Yemen, or the retired “investor” who took their own life because they lost everything, they ARE US.  Knowledge gives us the ability to remain calm, confident, and most importantly the ability to endure and continue.

Earth Facts

At one time in the world, it was scientific fact that the earth was the center of the universe, and was flat.  Then some daring thinkers such as Galileo proposed that the earth was NOT the center of the universe and in fact the planet rotated around the sun.  This was heresy for the time.  Then came the revelation that the earth was not flat but indeed round.

What is ironic is that revelation over 600 hundred years ago is still the basis of the solar system models taught even to this day.  We all can visualize the model in our heads, right?  Thousands of us made models as science projects in school.

Well, actually that is all WRONG!  When the real model is explained there is no doubt in your mind that the NEW model is actually how we move through space.  That is that although our orbit around the sun is mostly a circular motion around the sun on a fairly flat plane, we have neglected to account for the fact that the SUN is orbiting the center of the galaxy.  This reality means that the earth is really spiraling through space at a very FAST rate.

The Earth rotates at 0-1040 mi/hr (depends on latitude).  The earth orbits the sun at approximately 66,629 mi/hr.  The sun orbits the galactic centre at approximately 447,000 mi/hr.

In just considering how fast the sun is moving, we know the Earth travels at least 3,918,402,000 miles in a year’s time! (as it also orbits around the sun)

Total speed of the Earth moving through space is difficult to approximate do to the combination of motions.  Using Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation it is estimated the total motion of the Earth through space is approximately 1,342,000 mi/hr.! Or 11,763,972,000 miles in 1 year, which is still only 0.2% the speed of light! The old model might make one picture being back where you started after a year of time has past, when in fact, you are over 11 BILLION miles from where you were a year ago!

I bring this point to your attention given all of the activity recently relating to the events of Comet Elenin, The Draconid Meteor Event, Planet X, Nibiru, The Brown Dwarf, etc.  NASA and JPL represent these events in 2D orbital plane diagrams, when in fact we are moving through space in a 3D spiral fashion.

I am not a mathematician, but it seems to me when you are calculating a potential impact point is space, a 3D motion calculation may have a few more variables to calculate for extreme accuracy.  Again, I make this point because just as recently as last week an earth size comet collided with our sun with a subsequent (not earth pointed) CME without ONE advance word from NASA or ESA.

Lastly, there seems to be a building amount of photographic evidence of a second sun rising and setting with our sun.  There are a tremendous amount of photos floating around the internet that shows the sun with obvious lens flares, not distinct planetary bodies.  How in both the southern- most and northern most planet locations, undeniable photographic evidence has been captured and is hard to dispel.

All of this I believe deserves your attention.  I also think it may be time to ask our governments what they really know about this situation.  Just the facts, Ma’am.  If it is BS , then come right out and say so, and if not, then while I can understand the concern of mayhem that would ensue from such an announcement,  I do not believe that trumps my sovereign human right to know and prepare myself as I see fit.

The Four Issues to Watch This Week and Next

In a world where everything is happening at an ever accelerating pace, and the MSM is more into lulling you to sleep mode with the psuedo-politics and celebrity watches (with as many commercials as possible per segment), it is hard to focus on the important issues; the issues that will directly affect your life.

For the next few weeks we suggest you pay attention to these issues.

Wall Street Protests

The protest that started without leaders or agenda has really picked up steam and has spread to 26 cities nationwide.  There is also a singular articulate voice arising from the group.  Simply put, it states that the 99% of us are no longer going to tolerate the greed and avarice of the 1% and their hijacking of the political system in America.

Specifically, the organization has issued this statement below.  I think you will find it both interesting that MSM is portraying these demonstrations as unorganized gatherings of druggies, the usual assortment of protestors that show up at G7 meetings, etc.  I think after reading their statement you will understand that these demonstrations are much more than that.  You be the judge.

Declaration of the Occupation of New York City

As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.

As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage.

They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.

They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one’s skin, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.

They have poisoned the food supply through negligence, and undermined the farming system through monopolization.

They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless nonhuman animals, and actively hide these practices.

They have continuously sought to strip employees of the right to negotiate for better pay and safer working conditions.

They have held students hostage with tens of thousands of dollars of debt on education, which is itself a human right.

They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.

They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.

They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.

They have sold our privacy as a commodity.

They have used the military and police force to prevent freedom of the press.

They have deliberately declined to recall faulty products endangering lives in pursuit of profit.

They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.

They have donated large sums of money to politicians supposed to be regulating them.

They continue to block alternate forms of energy to keep us dependent on oil.

They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantive profit.

They have purposely covered up oil spills, accidents, faulty bookkeeping, and inactive ingredients in pursuit of profit.

They purposefully keep people misinformed and fearful through their control of the media.

They have accepted private contracts to murder prisoners even when presented with serious doubts about their guilt.

They have perpetuated colonialism at home and abroad.

They have participated in the torture and murder of innocent civilians overseas.

They continue to create weapons of mass destruction in order to receive government contracts.*

To the people of the world,

We, the New York City General Assembly occupying Wall Street in Liberty Square, urge you to assert your power.

Exercise your right to peaceably assemble; occupy public space; create a process to address the problems we face, and generate solutions accessible to everyone.

To all communities that take action and form groups in the spirit of direct democracy, we offer support, documentation, and all of the resources at our disposal.

The Second Issue to watch is the slow “Sam Peckinpah” demise of the EU.  There is talk of having the IMF step up and buy all of the paper, but it just that talk.  Walking the walk would mean that member countries would have to pony up about $3.7 Trillion and either they simple don’t have that kind of dough or the political will to extract it from their people.   Germany is frantically printing Deutschmarks as we speak. The impact to the markets is well.. can you say tsunami.

The Third Issue remains the solar weather.  We have currently one of the most active “earth facing” sunspot situations so far.  Two of the most active and of concern areas are Sunspot #1305 which has already produce a couple of impressive CMEs and geo-storms, and Sunspot #1313 which is just now rotating into view.  #1313 is believed to have produced the “full Halo” CME on the backside just a few days ago.  Check those batteries and candles one more time.

Finally, we have some interesting news out of NASA on Wednesday.  It seems just as we to pass through the path of the non-important ELENIN path, we ARE going to encounter a “Draconid Meteor Outburst!” Honest folks, I couldn’t make this up.  This from NASA:

Draconid Meteor Outburst

Oct. 4, 2011: On October 8th Earth is going to plow through a stream of dust from Comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner, and the result could be an outburst of Draconid meteors.  “We’re predicting as many as 750 meteors per hour,” says Bill Cooke of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office. “The timing of the shower favors observers in the Middle East, north Africa and parts of Europe.”

Comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner in Nov. 1998 photographed by astronomers at Kitt Peak.  Every 6.6 years Comet Giacobini-Zinner swings through the inner solar system. With each visit, it lays down a narrow filament of dust, over time forming a network of filaments that Earth encounters every year in early October.  “Most years, we pass through gaps between filaments, maybe just grazing one or two as we go by,” says Cooke. “Occasionally, though, we hit one nearly head on–and the fireworks begin.”  2011 could be such a year. Forecasters at NASA and elsewhere agree that Earth is heading for three or more filaments on October 8th. Multiple encounters should produce a series of variable outbursts beginning around 1600 Universal Time (noon EDT) with the strongest activity between 1900 and 2100 UT (3:00 pm – 5:00 pm EDT).  Forecasters aren’t sure how strong the display will be, mainly because the comet had a close encounter with Jupiter in the late 1880s. At that time, the giant planet’s gravitational pull altered the comet’s orbit and introduced some uncertainty into the location of filaments it has shed since then. Competing models place the filaments in slightly different spots; as a result, estimated meteor rates range from dozens to hundreds per hour.

So make sure you have your popcorn and beer stocked up.  It looks like an interesting helluva of a week.

 

Warning-Situation Update #1

As we pointed out in our last post, we are very concerned about a major Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from the solar sunspot 1302.  It seems it has started in earnest.  GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A strong-to-severe geomagnetic storm is in progress following the impact of a coronal mass ejection (CME) at approximately 12:15 UT on Sept. 26th. The Goddard Space Weather Lab reports a “strong compression of Earth’s magnetosphere. The source of this report is SpaceWeather.

Additional we have reports from Norway of Severe changes in ground current.  This current geo-magnetic storm is the strongest we have seen to date.  HAARP is also currently recording the strongest impacts we have seen in over three years of following it in our center.

The Japanese magnetic simulation site is recording the greatest impact we have witnessed.

Current real time impacts appear to be localized power outages being reported in Santiago Chile, San Diego California, and Seattle Washington.  We believe more is to come.

One of the most serious issues we are monitoring is the potential for earthquakes in the Canary Islands.  There have already been swarms of small quakes recorded there.  The concern relates to the east facing side of the mountains there that could slide into the ocean.  It is estimated that nearly 15,000 KM3 of the mountain would slide into the ocean, creating a tsunami of 25 meters hitting the East Coast of the US, which would arrive nine hours later.  9 HOURS.  Please stay very alert.  Check those Bug-Out Bags one more time.

The Most Likely Explanation of What’s Up in Denver

On the 22^nd of September I gave everyone the “heads-up” of what is happening in Denver and elsewhere.  The DEFCON1 exercise, the major FEMA Disaster Drill in Denver now on-going, the convergence of dignitaries arriving in Denver from the 25th of September, the facts related to the seemingly lack of PTB activity world-wide, and the strange activities in the various financial markets world-wide.

The question was and still is, what the heck do they know and why are they not telling “us” what the heck is going on?  The internet is abuzz with all kinds of theories, and certainly the “disinformation” machine is also running full bore, so “something” is up for sure, but what exactly?

Our monitoring center has been operating 24 hours per day since we first noted all of this strange activity around 19 September.  At this point we feel it is prudent for us to go out on a limb and issue an event warning.  Understand, we are NOT anything other than awake common folks who wish only to inform as many people as possible to events that may affect their lives and that such information is NOT available in MSM, either because of incompetence or because there are “official” gag orders under the auspices of “security” interests.

THE WARNING

We now believe that there is a greater than 50% chance we are about to experience a massive Coronal Mass Ejection for the sun that will at minimum disrupt electrical delivery systems world-wide in a major way.  This is expected to occur sometime between tomorrow (September 25^th) and October 1^st.  This may or may not be enhanced by the position of Comet Elenin during that period.

We believe that an X class flare greater than 3 can be expected during this period.  If such a flare was earth directed during that period, then there will be major disruption in communications and power delivery.  Power outages would be severe and of long duration, more than 4-6 weeks in some areas of the world.

Behemoth sunspot 1302 unleashed another strong flare on Saturday morning–an X1.9-category blast at 0940 UT. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the extreme ultraviolet flash. Sunspot 1302 is just rotating into earth view and will expose the earth to more of these large flares for at least a week to 10 days, at a minimum.

NASA and others are “downplaying” the probabilities, but we have monitored the solar activity for nearly three years and we have NEVER seen anything like 1302.  It is a monster and very geo-magnetically complex.

A solar flare is an explosion on the Sun that happens when energy stored in twisted magnetic fields (usually above sunspots) is suddenly released. Flares produce a burst of radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves to x-rays and gamma-rays. [more information]

Scientists classify solar flares according to their x-ray brightness in the wavelength range 1 to 8 Angstroms. There are 3 categories: X-class flares are big; they are major events that can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms. M-class flares are medium-sized; they can cause brief radio blackouts that affect Earth’s polar regions. Minor radiation storms sometimes follow an M-class flare. Compared to X- and M-class events, C-class flares are small with few noticeable consequences here on Earth.

Each of the dark cores in this snapshot of 1302 from the Solar Dynamics Observatory is larger than Earth, and the entire active region stretches more than 100,000 km from end to end. The sunspot’s magnetic field is crackling with sub-X-class flares that could grow into a larger eruption as the sunspot continues to turn toward Earth.

New sunspot 1302 has already produced two X-flares (X1.4 on Sept. 22nd and X1.9 on Sept. 24th), can another be far behind? NOAA forecasters put the 24-hour probability at 20%. The sheer size of the active region suggests the odds might be even higher than that.

Being forewarned is also being prepared.  We are recommending everyone be prepared to be able to survive being without power for more than 1 week.  Stock up on food and water.  One of our major concerns deals with the fact that if the power outages are massive, then within a few days, water may not be delivered to you by conventional means, so water availability is the critical issue.

A single EMP event may seriously degrade or shut down a large part of the electric power grid in the geographic area of EMP exposure effectively instantaneously. There is also a possibility of functional collapse of grids beyond the exposed area, as electrical effects propagate from one region to another.

The time required for full recovery of service would depend on both the disruption and damage to the electrical power infrastructure and to other national infrastructures. Larger affected areas and stronger EMP field strengths will prolong the time to recover. Some critical electrical power infrastructure components are no longer manufactured in the United States, and their acquisition ordinarily requires up to a year of lead time in routine circumstances. Damage to or loss of these components could leave significant parts of the electrical infrastructure out of service for periods measured in months to a year or more.

There is a point in time at which the shortage or exhaustion of sustaining backup systems, including emergency power supplies, batteries, standby fuel supplies, communications, and manpower resources that can be mobilized, coordinated, and dispatched, together lead to a continuing degradation of critical infrastructures for a prolonged period of time.

Electrical power is necessary to support other critical infrastructures, including supply and distribution of water, food, fuel, communications, transport, financial transactions, emergency services, government services, and all other infrastructures supporting the national economy and welfare. Should significant parts of the electrical power infrastructure be lost for any substantial period of time, the consequences are likely to be catastrophic, and many people may ultimately die for lack of the basic elements necessary to sustain life in dense urban and suburban communities.

As always, we hope we are very wrong about this, but the evidence is strong enough to issue this warning.  I am actually looking forward to being totally wrong about this, but there is enough evidence to issue this warning.  Good Luck to all and remember to take care of your neighbors and those who can’t help themselves.

Keepin’ Myself Honest

Beginning last June or so, I began focusing my blog on the economy, solar activity, natural disasters, and political instability on a global basis.  I tried to understand and focus current events to understand what the near future may hold for us all.  While I don’t try to make predictions, I do try to give people heads up on what I think is coming.I fully understand that there are thousands of sites, threads, and forums dedicated to these “ so-called” alternative news “outlets”.  However, I have no agenda or need for recognition nor any desire for monetary gain, just a desire to share my knowledge and experience, along with my daily efforts to monitor the WORLD events around us.However, such efforts must be evaluated by the facts to insure we are “seeing” the real important issues, and NOT the     and disinformation.  So how did we do?

Natural disasters, unexplained events, historic drought and flooding, economic uncertainty, civil unrest, and terrorism are the things we may face at anytime. You may not have been directly affected by the events listed here but events around the world can quickly change our daily life. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring but as we have seen so far this year, it might be a good idea to be prepared for whatever tomorrow brings.

Given the predictions for the increase in solar activity and the almost certain collapse of the EU within the next month I would hope we are ready.  On the financial side, I hope you are all sitting on the sidelines with your popcorn watching the show.  The markets are no place for arm chair investors right now.  Hell, it’s no place for pros either right now.

On the survival side, simply think what you need to do if you have no power for say 2 weeks and prepare for that contingency.  I think we have more than a 60% chance of that happening in the next thirty days.

However, even more important than all these things, I think you should not believe your lyin’ eyes as you watch the news for the next 30 days.  As political and financial system begin this final collapse phase of business as usual, in the PTB circles, things are beginning to be a bit frantic.  Just remember desperate people do desperate things.

Ultimately though, take care of each other.  We all act as one in face of challenges and disasters.  This must now, unfortunately, become daily habit.  We are all really in this together.  Live peacefully in love and compassion.  It really is the most important contribution you can make to getting things “right”.

A Little Truth in These Troubled Times

It has been several weeks since I have made an entry to my blog.  To be honest, I was at a lose as to what to focus on as being the most important things we should focus our attention towards

Things are unfolding as predicted concerning the economy, and certainly we all are somewhat shocked and concerned about how the US legislative bodies are playing Russian roulette with the world’s economy. The level of ignorance and hubris has never been more manifest in those bodies in the history of the Union.

It is exactly these events that I have warned in previous articles that could take us to a state of open rebellion.  This should NOT occur.  We have a political process that has never failed the US in it’s history.  Winston Churchill put very well during the early years of World War Two when he said, “The Americans will always do the right thing, after they have tried everything else.”

It is that spirit which inspired me to do this entry, but more than that I had remembered the teachings of the Elders of the Hopi Nation that I have learned a few years back.  It is short but packed with wisdom of how to deal with TODAY.  Here it is in its entirety.  I thank the Elders for this gift and I am sure they will be happy that I share it with you and without further comment.  Enjoy.
